You dont believe that companies that are hitting some kind of diversity targets like, let use United Airlines as an example considering human safety is pretty important, where they are wanting new pilots to be a certain percentage of a particular race and gender rather than picking "the best" pilots? I dont know about you, but I dont want a pilot flying my plane with my family on it who only got the job because they met some DEI target. I want the best pilot. Sure I dont agree with him using the words "white people", but how other is he going to make is point because those DEI positions are taking the jobs away from people who are qualified on merit and the merit of white people. I find that racists in itself that a DEI hire gets picked if I am more qualified. Imagine me, or any other white person on this site going for a position only to find out you didnt get the job not because you werent qualified, but because of the companies DEI program. Id be pissed as fuck and I should not be the only one. And well done for doing a 30 second google search and pulling the first thing you found from a lefty journalist who hand picked those comments that have little to no context as to how the rest of those conversations went because I know you didnt watch those episodes and draw the same conclusion. And why are they posting those? To justify his killing? Just a side note. There was zero violence in the streets after his murder. Also, who here owns a gun? For the record, I dont like the second amendment or agree with it.

Personally, I don't like it (there are some exceptions). I don't like having something rammed down my throat, or shoved in my face. Too many people are far too concerned with figures. I'm not interested in those writers who use words to play a numbers game. Most of what they produce is done so based on a number, not the quality of the content. If you're someone I follow, chances are I'll read anyway. Of course I can understand why people do it, that's not the question. Funny thing is, people are going to use this thread to promote themselves. Irony caution to the OP.

For a complete stranger? I'm always holding doors, giving directions, countless people trying to get luggage into overhead bins on planes or off the belt. I carried the bag of a lady I sat next to on a flight from the plane to the carousel. I once helped a girl fill her car with fuel as she had just got a new car and 1, couldn't find the opener for the cap, and 2, had never filled a car with fuel as her dad always did it. I'm constantly helping friends and family with whatever it is they need. One day, I'm going to need their help.

Wow, I forgot about this thead. Someone breathed new life into it. The job I have had for almost the last 4 years has required travel monthly on average. Thankfully I was wise enough to pick an airline and stick with them and their international partners because most of the things that people dislike are virtually non existent. Access priority check-in, baggage (your bags are the first to come out), boarding, lounge access in almost any airport in the world, blocked seats beside me (which is huge on flights 4 hours or more) make plane travel far less of a chore. There's nothing better than getting to the gate and there are 400 people wanting to board an A380 and you walk right on by all of them. Ok, I'll stop now. I still love to fly.

Mine is actually me. Suited up for a day at the horse races. The suit has nothing to do with pretending to be a dom or capture any kind of bdsm elements for the purpose of Lush. For the record Canada has 12 statutory holidays. Depending on Easter this works out to approx one a month in British Columbia. Our floating holiday is in February. It's called Family Day. Just time in the "F" month to have a little break. I believe this extra holiday is decided province by province. In Quebec they celebrate Jean Baptiste Day in June, and other provinces have their own celebratory days.
Boxing Day originates from England, so this will have to be scrapped from the record by the other poster unfortunately. Its other countries of the Commonwealth that have adopted the holiday, including Canada and thankfully us here in Oz. Actually, we are the only ones who can say at Christmas, Happy Holidays because its more than one day. America needs to rehash the saying to just "Happy Holiday" as its just one day and business as usual on the 26th

Of course this would only be an issue if they gave you a 5. I'm sure people are more than happy for those who gave them a 4 or even worse to leave. People are far too obsessed with average scores, the amount of comments, views etc. If people need to delete, they have a reason. I'm not directing this solely at you, but seeing as though you brought it up, I would like to say that if someone leaves, their reasons are far more important or personal than figures on your stories. I have just realised this is a pet peeve. Thanks.
One other thing I find myself scratching my head about is that some people have no idea what the "Follow" feature really means. For those of you who are new, or are clueless about it, it's purely for stories. If you follow someone and they post a story, you will be notified. That's it. It does not mean you will be dragged around the site like a rag doll everywhere they go. The first word that comes to mind is "stalker".
