Just reading about those movies creeps me out, so they are not being watched here. Ever.

The very existence of "torture porn" disturbs me. Even mild torture scenes give me the willies.

Yeah, I don't normally do horror. That movie was in a twilight zone far beyond horror.
I had to have been at someone else's house when I had the misfortune of watching bits. *shudders again*

Vanessa, you're not missing anything.

Edit: I'm adding Sausage Party to my list of unwatchable movies. That shit was awful.

snatch, twat, slit, fuckhole. just for starters smile

*Pulls out my notepad and starts jotting*
A lot of what I've published here has been conceived on Cloud 9.

I suppose I'll let other be the judge on how it affects my writing.
The Human Centipede is up there for me. Don't even remember why the fuck I ended up on it. *shudders*

I see you adopted the 'Henk' thingy. It does sound badass Thank you

Waaay better than Hank.

Does El Henke mean something particular?

Stories must be exactly 100 words. There's a single prize of $100, and the deadline is May 31.

Hey Nicola, on this thread you say the cut-off date is May 31, but on the competition page, it says May 30.

Which are we going with?

Edit: The course of a day could be 25 entries lol

Oooh, I liking this category more and more... smile

Photos not required.

Your submission on the other hand...
Quote by Verbal
No photo. Is that a requirement?

Bad Verbal!

Jk. I think we have decided not to make it a requirement, but it is encouraged.
I was literally working on something this morning and toyed with the idea of making a previous main character a secondary. But it wouldn't be a continuation.

I want to say I've written one before, but I can't recall. I think it's a fun idea.
Hey Gav,

Found a few oddities for you:

1. When checking my Timeline, the page stretches a bit, and I have to scroll to the right to get to the hamburger menu again:

And when I click the menu, it's too far to the left:

2. When on my profile, after pressing the 'Stories Published' drop down and going to 'All Stories', some of the RR/EP indicators are overlapping the story text. It appears to only happen when a One Liner isn't present to give that extra space:

3. When I am on my desktop, I am no longer able to hover over someone's avatar, right click, and open their profile in a new tab.
I'm not sure if this was affected with the mobile changes? But it's driving me crazier than I thought it would. The option to 'Open in a new tab' is gone. sad

You are all far too kind! I can't tell you how much I appreciate your words❤ I'm so grateful to be here, let alone to be read, let alone to be awarded anything.

I had fun writing it, and it's nice to know others enjoy reading it??

Thank you❤❤❤
GAV, I LOVE IT!!!

I'm still messing around on this new version, and will let you know if I see any quirks, but so far it's absolutely fabulous.
Quick to navigate (I did have to learn the places of a few things, but that's expected) and it looks really good.

Thank you so much for all your hard work! ❤️❤️❤️
Cold brew with Italian sweet cream, please. I hope that's not too artesan a request. I promise I'm not wearing square framed non-prescription glasses with suspenders.

Over twenty comp entries in the first week? Hot crowd for sure.
To add to the judges workload, or not to add...

Ping, thank you for the history lesson. You should write textbooks.
Verb, I hope you do post your story here.
Edit: Is that Gumby and Godzilla? I will surely miss your real-life avatars once you're done.

I hope today treats everyone well
The biggest cup of coffee that exists, please. I only slept a few hours last night.

I fucking LOVE Bill Withers. I'm so truly sad to see him pass. His voice (is) lovely. I adore every one of his songs.
Been listening to him a lot lately.

Sprite, I loved your latest.
And Laura's comp piece is a motherfucking delight.
I'm intimidated to enter now

I've published a couple stories lately. Just finished a flash. Stay tuned.

I hope everyone's well today
I agree with Beffer in a way; I've no idea which one's my best.
My favorite story that I've written is The One That Got Away.
It was effortless.
Like RejectReality, I read my own shit all the time.ut2VFr9S53mGQkfq

I respond to what I get. An "I loved it" or other simple comment, likely just gets a Like. Some kind of detailed comment, even just a sentence, will likely get a response. I do fall behind in my responses at times for which I apologize to commenters who have been missed. Wasn't a reflection on your comment, just on my availability or mental state.

Quote by seeker4
I have actually been experimenting with responding to every comment on my latest but, dang, some of them don't really merit much effort and you start to run out of things to say unless there's something in the actual comment that's noteworthy. I will probably go back to just giving Likes for ones that don't really have anything to respond to.

Scrolling through the replies and I just relate with you so much. When they're short comments I run out of things to say, and putting the same 'Thank you!' on every one feels impersonal just the same. But I try to 'like' them all. Because I do like them all. Fucking love when someone writes a novel comment.

I also agree with WW.
If you don't leave me a meaningful comment, you won't get a meaningful reply. I'm prone to giving away tidbits on my thought process as I was writing said piece should someone inquire. I love when others elaborate on their process.
I'll join Vanessa for a coffee. Many thanks.

Haven't been in for a while.
I hope everyone's been well, all things considered.

And I am trippin on your real-life face, Verbal.
Also, diggin the button-up.
Did I miss the trend of candid avatars?
My mug = Not so photogenic.
Vanessa, though. Mmm.
