Be able to search on title or tags or just everything and then maybe be able to order them on views, rating or something more. I think it would be pretty helpful with the amount of new stories added every day.

Think of it as compared to facebook where you are never really sure that your account is completely deleted. Also, for the people who need to quit because their spouse found out, a delay of a day or two could be extremely troublesome. ("Honey, you swore you deleted your account, but I checked and it's still there.") Yes, people do delete their accounts and come back. But I would guess that far more delete their accounts and never come back.
Maybe there should be a delay of a week for people to create a new account after they deleted their account.
