Congratulations and thank you for all you do. ???
I'm doing a mental health check in. I know almost everywhere in the world has stay home order and I want to make sure everyone is doing ok. I know how it can be with anxiety getting the better of you. I also know how hard it can be to be stuck at home looking at the same people and not able to go anywhere. I am lucky enough to live in a rural area with plenty of area for my littley to play in her own playground. I myself have been going a bit stir crazy but on nice evenings been trying to get out to walk.
I've been learning a lot about myself and how much I can handle. I am currently homeschooling 2 children. Thankfully my daughter's teacher is amazing and keeping us up to date and organized. I've also become my daughters dance coach as she is learning her dances through Facebook Live. Everyone is trying to adjust to our new norm.
I've also learned how to have phone visits with my doctors and even a video conference with a specialist. I had a call with my psychiatrist today and although it was kind off I found a quiet area to speak to her.
We are going through these troubled scary times together. Please let us know how you are handling life and if you need to talk I am here along with many others. Don't hesitate to send me a message.
Good morning. BB is de-sludged, saved for Carl. I've rinsed out, cleaned and sanitized before filling her with an aromatic caffeinated elixir. The kettle is on for hot tea.
It's a slow moving morning so I'll just get my tea and wait for beautiful Miss Curvy to bring you some brownies. I have her coffee waiting as well as Carl's. I've hot tea ready for the lovely Kat and both Scotts. I hope everyone has a good day and keeping sane staying home.
Good evening. Could I please have a hot cup of tea before bed. Tomorrow I add another hat to my repertoire and become a dance teacher/helper. My littley's amazing dance teacher is going to be doing virtual classes for the kids. This will help them keep up with their recital dances. Fun stuff lol. Today was dress like a superhero day and my girl dressed as a super doctor/nurse. She really is the cutest. I also had my first over the phone doctor appointment. It was interesting. I have another tomorrow and then a video call with a new specialist later this week. These will all be different.
Sara I'm surprised your court wasn't postponed. I know my son's here were all postponed to much later. Scott I hope things aren't to bad getting everyone up and running at home. I know all that IT stuff can be a bit of a pain. I promise to get to your story soon. I am working through a mile long list of stories to read. Kat I hope your brother takes things well and understands why he gets to stay with you. I know my brother (we don't exactly talk much) is having a really hard time. He has several mental illnesses and he has lots of doomsday theories. Beautiful Miss Curvy I hope you are doing well over on your side of the world. I'm off to bed now. Hugs to all.
Yes, I do. I feel it would help stop the spread quicker .
Is social distancing making you stir crazy?
Tells you exactly how she feels. Active forum user.
Good Monday morning all. BB has been de-sludged, saved for Carl. I've rinsed her three times and sanitized her to keep us all safe. Now filled with her caffeinated goodness. The kettle is on for tea and cocoa.
As things become our new normal I wish everyone well. I hope if you are now working from home everything goes as smoothly as possible. If you're like me and teaching I wish you an easy Monday. Those of you still out working especially Jen and or nurses and doctors I pray for your safety and that you will get the supplies you need.
It's very sobering to know that here in Jersey so far over 1900 people have tested positive and this is by no means even near the actual number. Or neighboring state of NY as over 16500 specifically in NYC over 11000 positive results. These numbers are definitely scary and we know the more tests that become available the worse it will be. I hope more people take this seriously and stay home or practice social distance.
Today I have my first remote doctor appointment. I'm not exactly sure how this will work as we are trying to figure out what is going on with my body. All I can do is explain my symptoms the best I can and pray for the best.
It's snowing here this morning after being in the 70s-f on Saturday. Crazy weather goes along with these crazy days.
Now I've set coffee up for the beautiful Miss Curvy and Carl. I've set out tea for the lovely Kat and both Scotts. Have as wonderful day as possible. Sending hugs to all.
Thank you ladies. I also have an album on my page for friends to see me. Vanessa like you nothing has changed for me except my mother-in-law is not able to get out for various things. That just means she can be a pain more often. This has also made it so my mom isn't able to move which would've helped me put my girls room into better order. We are in the process of remodeling and moving her into her brother's room. Tomorrow is day 6 of homeschooling and our school has decided to have a spirit week. Tomorrow is superhero day in honor of the doctors, nurses and essential workers who are out there helping us all. My littley has something special planned. Tuesday is crazy hair/school colors day to honor the hairstylists and schools that have closed, Wednesday is dress like an old person day to honor the generation most at risk, Thursday is jersey day to honor your favorite sports team that isn't able to play and Friday is pajama day because what is homeschooling if you can't be in your PJs. I think this is a great idea to keep the kids still connected. We will share pictures with teachers and staff and on Facebook so everyone can see. We also all have rainbows in our windows to let our friends know we miss them and can't wait to get back to school. We are all trying to keep things as normal as possible in these times.
I'm off to bed now so I'll say goodnight. Hugs from a safe distance away.
Congratulations to the winners and the top 10. Everyone who entered this comp and every comp always does so sell. All the ones I was able to read were amazing.
Carl I think I must type too slow or say too much as you've posted before I finished. I think it will be good for you to check your charges. Hopefully it will brighten your spirits my dear friend. You've been missed. Hugs dear friend.
Good morning family. BB has been de-sludged (saved for Carl) rinsed out at least 4 times and filled with the best water I have (which happens to come from my well) and she's ready with some of her caffeinated greatness. The kettle is on for tea.
Gil I'm glad you are taking all the precautions needed for your family members.
Jen I am praying for you and your family. I hope your son feels better.
Sir that is awful. I hope your family stays well. People are very idiotic is all I can say.
Yes these are very uncertain times for us all. I am talking to my girl as much as I can to explain things as best I can for her. She hears the news And can just put it all together. Today nothing special going on. We will have class with music included today and hopefully the rain stops so they can go outside for awhile. Ii have coffee ready for the beautiful Miss Curvy, Carl, and you too Sir. I have some tea for the lovely Kat and both Scotts. I hope everyone is staying safe and sane in our troubled times. Hugs for all from my adequate social distance.
I happened to pick up the last two packs of quilted northern yesterday at our local Wal-Mart. I'd gladly share with you. We also have a whole freezer full of venison and for some odd reason my mother-in-law likes to buy cereal so I have about 20 different boxes. Come on over and I'll gladly share what I have.
