Good morning Martin and Xander. Big Bertha has been de-sludged (saved for Carl), rinsed and filled with some of her best caffeinated greatness. The kettle is on for tea and cocoa. I've gathered all the glasses and mugs from yesterday's Mardi Gras celebrations. No treats from me today as I gave up chocolate for lent.

Went to get my littley and I a donut for faschnaut day and would you believe DD was out of almost everything we asked for and this was only at 330pm. You'd think they would prepare better for "donut" day.

My littley finished her third project in her art class. She is amazing. This was tve first canvas that had her own drawing on it. She was learning about still life and Vincent van Gogh.

We are preparing for another storm. The weather people have no idea what's going on. We are getting anything from 4-12 inches. My littley will love it. She will want to build a snowman. The last snowfall I surprised her and fell back in the snow (it was 2ft) and made snow angels. Been forever since I just let go for a bit.

Now I'll grab some hot tea and work on my poem a little. Be safe out there in this crazy weather.

Sorry I am not up on all that coming from Jersey and all. When I was stationed in Florida and everyone went to New Orleans I stayed behind and got a tattoo. When I searched the date, it says today is Mardi Gras. This year is being celebrated very different without parades and all the parties.

I brought along some faschnauts for anyone who would like some. I would love to have another cup of tea with mine, please, Bill. Carl stay safe and warm out there on the prairie. Thank you for doing the washing beautiful Miss Curvy. Wherever you are have an amazing day/night.

Good morning Bill. I'd love to have a piece of the King cake with my tea. My littley had king cake yesterday. Her cousin found the baby and was "King" for the day. She was excited to tell me all about it. Today was to be their hundredth day of school. They always have a celebration of sorts for that but being home they can't do so. Sad the kids are missing all the traditions. Even their Valentine's are still sitting in school. Hopefully the end of the month they can celebrate.

I think I'll have another cup of tea and get my day started with my littley. Enjoy your day everyone.

Good early morning. Big Bertha has been de-sludged (saved for Carl), rinsed, and filled with some of the best coffee I could find. The kettle is on for our tea and cocoa crowd. I have gathered all the glasses and mugs from yesterday and set them to soak. We will have to wait for the beautiful Miss Curvy or Carl for some treats.

Today is the first day of Mardi Gras. As things have been canceled in New Orleans I am sure some rumpies will have some fun going on today. For that I left a bunch of beads along the bar for everyone to start out with some.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. If you are in the path of the ice storm, please be careful.

Good evening Martin. Here's your drink. I think I will join you with a glass of white before you head off to bed. Chris has recommended your series to me as well. Hopefully I will soon be able to enjoy reading again. I love all the littleys but miss some free time. Lol.

We are expecting half an inch of ice over night. Yuck. Luckily we had our furnace fixed today. Woke up this morning and it was only 69f when the thwemoswas set to 72f. Needed to call in the repair man. Ugh things don't last as long as the older ones did.

It's great seeing everybody and hello to all the new people. When I have time I tend to hang around and serve up drinks. Occasionally I even clean up around here. I guess I should do that before all the Mardi Gras celebrating starts.

My littley was with her cousins today and they had a little celebration of sorts. They watched the Princess and the Frog and ate King Cake. She had lots of fun. She has plenty of beads in all her dress-up boxes so I'm glad they didn't do any of that. Seems like every event we go to they give out beads.

Good moanday morning my favorite rumpies. Sorry I've been kind of MIA I needed a break for awhile and am so busy with the kids I am exhausted by the time I have a moment to myself. My littley is doing great. She has to quarantine from school for 2 weeks as either someone in her class or a parent of one of the kids tested positive. I do wish they would just keep them all remote for the rest of this year. We have about 3 1/2 months left. She received her 2nd report card and her teacher said she is a model student. She has almost all outstandings which for first grade is the highest you can get. She is also growing like a weed now. She has outgrown so many of her clothes. I will be passing them along to someone in need. I hope everyone here in the states is staying safe with this crazy weather happening. We are expecting a bad ice storm tonight. I also hope everyone is doing well. Sending hugs to all.

Good morning my lovely lush family and fellow rumpies. I'll get down to the most important business first. Big Bertha has been de-sludged, rinsed, and filled with some of the best caffeinated greatness around. The kettle is on for tea and cocoa. I also brought a long a poppyseed cake and blueberry muffins for everyone to enjoy. I've gathered all the glasses and cups and put them to rinse in the sink.

I've really missed everyone and hope all is well with all. I am so very sad to see that G aka Ping/PnGD has left us once again. He was one of my best friends as he was the first "real" person I met way back when I joined. I am not caught up on what's going on with everyone and for that I apologize. If I've missed something important please let me know. I especially want to say happy birthday to anyone I may have missed.

We have been snowed in with two feet of snow over a three day storm. It's one of the biggest storms we've had here in Jersey. Of course now that kids can learn remotely they will never know what it's like to have a real snowday. I saw the new comp is up and I'm not sure if I will be able to enter. I haven't written any poetry in quite sometime.

I am going to take my tea and sit over in the corner to try to catch up on some of what's been happening around here. Lots of hugs for any who needs them and even if you don't the offer is there.

I lost too many people. In a short time our family lost six people. None due to Corona but suddenly just the same. My brother-in-law left behind three small children. My best friend and cousin left us a week before her first grandbaby was born. Another extremely close cousin and my s/o's best friend witheredaway within two weeks of finding out he was sick.

Yesterday my grandbaby celebrated with his first party. He is do adorable and loved his smash cake. He enjoyed his cousins and family.

Today is an easy day unless I decide to pull my littley's room apart while she is away today. She will be with her cousins that are here all week. She loves getting to go to their house.

Not much going on here. Days are just pretty monotonous. We had to go to the Harley shop to pick up some paperwork for my s/o new bike. My littley was amazed. She couldn't believe that her moniker everywhere. She is glad for the long weekend. She gets to play with her cousins tomorrow without any work.

Good morning my rumpies fam.Hope everyone is doing well. The virus has hit close to home. My mil's sister tested positive which means my mil is quarantined and she was tested yesterday. Please send good vibes if possible.

Hard to believe but my grandbaby is one already. I have no idea where the time has gone. My littley is doing well. She went to in-person school for three days and says she is homesick. My younger son found out he is having a boy in June. Guess grandma is going to be loving the babies.

Why do you want a puppy? Don't you think that I think they are cute too? You work all day and who has to take care of the poor thing all day? Your mom and I. That's on top of four kids, schooling, a house, laundry, meals etc. Your mom is 81 years old she can not be taking care of a puppy. Especially the fact that you want a St. Bernard. They are absolutely adorable but our house is too small and I can not see spending upwards of 1500$ to pay for one. I truly think you're out of your fucking mind.

Thank you both. My children are my everything. The first half of my adulthood was dedicated to my older boys. Everything was for them. My s/o at that point was very mentally abusive and those words stick with me. This half of my adulthood is for my littley. She is the light in my life. Without her I'm truly not sure where I would be. She came at a time I didn't even know I needed her. This year more than ever. One light from 2020 was that my grandson was born in January. Then between May and August we lost five family members. One was my very best friend and one other I was extremely close to. These were not from Covid but 3 out 5 were unexpected and suddenly. It has really shaken me. This past year has also put a strain on my relationship with my younger son. He has made me feel like I've failed him in some way. I also live with my mother-in-law which makes life extremely challenging. I feel like I live for all of them and not myself. I know that things will get better and I have a counselor to help me see things differently. Hopefully phone visits will end soon and I can go to the office and talk. I'm sorry for rambling on and on just wanted to tell you why I feel the way I do.

Most days I would say it's meaningless. The only thing meaningful I've done was create three beautiful children. Two of which are now making their own lives. My life is monotonous and quite boring. This past year I've lost myself more than I care to admit. I'm just here to do for others and make sure they are ok.
