I hope everyone who celebrated had a wonderful Christmas. Mine was exhausting but really nice. My littley loved all of her gifts. Her favorites have to be a model of the human body with removable organs and of course her dolls. My grandson had a great first Christmas as well. It's Christmas eve eve and I've already started cooking. Going to be a busy couple days. Santa has so much to deliver as well. I can't wait to see my littley 's face. Although she received a message from her favorite fireman that if she doesn't get what she wanted to let him know. He knows Santa personally. I thought it was funny but her eyes lit up and sparkled when she heard that.

Good morning rumpies. Big Bertha has been de-sludged (saved for Carl), rinsed and filled with some of her best caffeinated ambrosia. The kettle is on for tea and cocoa. I also have cookies. Peanutbutter and chocolate chip. I've gathered all the glasses and mugs from yesterday and gave them a cursory wash.

I hope everyone is doing well. Life is hectic this time of year. Especially with little ones. There's been baking, decorating, wrapping,and moving that elf everyday. I think that was the hardest part. We did get a snowstorm last week. We had about 18 inches. Of course now that we can have remote schooling the kids didn't have a snow day. I'm sorry I'm so behind in all of my reading. I will never be able to catch up. I also only have about two paragraphs written for the comp. So as much as I want to enter I don't think I will be. I've gathered all the glasses and mugs from yesterday and gave them a cursory wash. No sweets from me today but I'm sure tge beautiful Miss Curvy will be along shortly.

We are in a winter storm warning here in Central Jersey. They are calling for a possibility of 20+ inches of snow. It's been quite awhile since we've had a storm like this. My littley is going to love it. We will also be baking our Christmas cookies then. That is the perfect time for baking. I've also started an idea for the comp. Not sure if it will pan out but I want to try. Today marks the day that the vaccine comes to Jersey. I'm really unsure about this but will watch and see how it goes. I hope everyone is doing well. We are preparing for a big snow storm this week. This comes right after our school opens back up. I have about a thousand gifts to wrap. The UPS and FedEx drivers are probably tired of coming up my driveway and having to back their way down. All but a handful of my cards are done and mailed. I hope everything continues easily. Today we put our tree up. It's different without my older kids. Guess I need to get used to it. I think I am going to take my tea and rest for a bit as my head is starting to hurt. Have a great day. Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. One of my friends has tested positive. I just hope he is ok. He's a forty year old with several young grandchildren. I'm in the midst of all the preparations for Christmas. The hardest part is next. Which is wrapping all her gifts. She is pretty spoiled.

They are opening the school on Tuesday even though the whole state is in the orange. Only one level below highest risk of red. I truly thought we would be remote for most of the school year.

Good morning all. It's finally Saturday which means no extra kids for me. Thank you for the setup Carl. Nicola sorry you aren't feeling well. I'm looking forward to this comp. James today at my house is our annual booze making day. My sons and other half are making Apple Pie Shine. I've tasted the real stuff you speak of and let me tell you. That stuff is powerful. I can't even call it a taste. More like it touched my lips. The smell would intoxicated you for a week and we were able to start our lawn mower with it. It was that potent. Ours is made with everclear which is pretty potent as well.

Had a nice day yesterday. Both my boys came for dinner. I love when I have them all together. Thankfully the girls are getting along better now. My grand baby is starting to form words. He is so adorable.

My littley broke my heart as everyone was leaving she came to me with tears in her eyes. She asked me to tell Santa the only thing she wants for Christmas is a friend. I had to explain Santa can't make people and she has friends even if they don't live with us. She was feeling a bit left out as the older ones played Cards Against Humanity.

I hope everyone who celebrated had a great day even during the pandemic. Anyone deciding to go shopping today please be safe out there. Things are much different this year.

Rach my son went through an escape room and he really enjoyed it. He went through one with a group and one with just a friend. Hope if you decide to go you have a blast.

I've gathered all the glasses and mugs from yesterday. I'm sure beautiful Miss Curvy or his fuzziness will have treats soon.

Sorry I am unable to wash out those mugs as I did something quite stupid and sliced my finger with a knife. I wasn't able to get stitches as there wasn't anything to sew. With the skin gone they put some kind of special foam that will help with the healing process. Anyway, yes I'm that dumb.

Preparations for out Thanksgiving dinner are underway. It will be nice to have all three of my kids here and my grandson. He's starting to pull himself up and stand. Soon he'll be walking.

Today is a gloomy, rainy day here in Jersey. My littley went back to in-person school this past week. She got to go four days and now they shut the schools down again. At least she met her teacher and saw some friends. She also got her first report card full of Os for outstanding and twos and threes which means at grade level or above grade level. She is an emotional little girl and thought that the numbers were not to good and cried. She also started art lessons and loves it. She did amazing. She's also so proud that she is reading now. She's growing so fast.

Bill, I am so sorry to read of your loss. I know words do not help at all but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you the strength you need to get through this time and know that you have your memories from a time before she became ill. My deepest sympathy for you and your family. Many many hugs. Nothing new here. My littley is returning to in-person learning today. She only goes a half a day but it's still scary. It was a hard decision but I believe she needs to be in class with her teacher. She is advancing past a lot of what they have her working on.
