Hey Art...you drinkin a 40 ounce? Want a paper bag with that???

No thanks on the paper bag, Alan. I'll just carry it out in my stomach.

Since Art is buying, I'll take a beer...

I knew I liked you for a reason!!!!

Hey Art...if you're buying, maybe I'll stay for a few...
Rumor has it that if you're buying, it's a newsworthy event...
Let me see, what's top shelf around here...I'm getting tired of this Sams Club bourbon...

Have at it!!
And yes, you heard correct rumors - for me to open my wallet to buy is certainly newsworthy. For some reason, the news loves to publish stories about all the moths that die when my wallet opens.

Evening Lushketeers...I see Art found the bar...I knew he could do it...
Let me get something strong, it's been a long couple of weeks...
I think a triple bourbon with a bourbon chaser and a double shot of bourbon on the side should do the trick...
Just, um, put it on my tab...
Cheers,
Alan.

I'll be a son-of-a-bitch!!! Good to see you back on the 'Net!!! Yes, I was invited to the bar one night and kinda been hanging around ever since.
GREAT TO SEE YOU, MY FRIEND!!! I'll buy this round!!!!!

I have a hard time to get my pictures to upload that is why I don't post them ....

I too have trouble with posting pics here. I'm with the understand that after the magical '20' posts are on from me, I should be able to upload directly from my computer. Hope that works! I've linked to pics on my own site and still can't get them to post here in the forum.

Guess I'm not as computer savy as most.

my problem is I upgraded to windows 7 and I do not understand it well it is so different from windows xp

redhotmommacita,
I too have W7, and although it has a lot more 'candy' in it, I find the basic operation is the same as XP was. If you (or anyone else) have any problems with W7 and think I could be any help, just PM me and ask.

The trouble is I have too many thoughts swirling in my head. I don’t know where to start and the worst thing is- I can’t find the right words…words that would put my garbled thoughts in some kind of order.

Hmmmm. I'd be fascinated to know what you're thinking sometimes... Other times, I'd be willing to bet I'm glad I don't know!!

If it makes any difference, and I speak for myself only, but I too have that problem and it seems to happen quite often. May I use the reason that I'm just a mere man?

The Trainman is always listening. LOL

I applaud you Savanna. You have the courage to say what I'm sure many have thought, and you say it in a very eloquent way. More so than I would, for sure! Although, I too must admit that sometimes, one liners are the most logical option, I wasn't aware this was a chat forum.

"Never be afraid to speak your thoughts - somewhere, someone will be in agreement with you". Although I don't always practive that myself, I still think it would be a better world if people would say what's on their minds (in a tactful way, of course) instead of letting it fester inside.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, I have concluded with this chapter of my ramblings.

'Till later -

Apologies in advance if i am getting the wrong end of the stick here..
This may not be a chat forum .. but when Mr Rumples started this thread he said ....

"Need a place to gossip, share news, talk sports, pimp a story, piss & moan, or just grab a drink? If so, you’ve come to the right gin joint."

so in my opinion .. just about anything goes ..

Being new to this forum stuff, I may be sticking my nose where I shouldn't be, but perhaps savanna was/is just having a bad day. If that's the case, maybe she just needed to 'piss & moan' for a moment.

Anyhow, in my past years when I spent a lot of time in bars, nightclubs, casinos, and clubs, I know how fun it can be, and I learned the hard way how rough it can be at times. My presumption is that a cyber-bar is close to the real thing as far as conversations and opinions spoken. The good thing is that I won't get my lights knocked out in here (I hope).

May I buy you a drink, scarletblue?

Hey happy I think you will like this song the words I will be happy to explain to you if you like

Very touching indeed, and easy for me to relate to.

After a day like today was, I need some soothing...

Who do I see for a MGD served at 31.6 degrees?? Aw, what the heck - ROUND FOR THE HOUSE!!!

Hi I hope you day went well but from the looks of it O say nooooooooooo. and what is MGD I have n=many nice songs still giggles ooops i think

Well, turns out my 'day' was more relaxing than my 'night', but oh well - at least I'm alive and healthy!!

MGD is short for "Miller Genuine Draft", which is one of our domestic beers. Hardly ever drink anything other than coffee and water, but once in a while, a cold beer is real nice.

I'm hoping to soon hear more of the songs you have.

SCOOTER!!! I thought this was a friendly bar!?!?!?
You're scaring me, man! Don't EVER say she's back! Especially before I go to bed!!

Ya know, I bet she's telling that guy the same thing she told me, 'I love you so much, you're so wonderful, yada-yada-yada'. I never bought it - always could see right through her!!

And Savanna:
Honest! When I carried that pot into the kitchen, it was filled with ice cubes!! I tried to tell ya you make me hot, but you thought I was only being polite!!

Now that you posted that pic - I'll need to cancel that game of poker we were planning. Over here, there's a saying that I find to be true....
"Nothing beats a great pair of legs!"
Those are her family jewels and you know how we all protect them!!
Thanks for the warm reception!!

I've been looking at that pic Savanna posted. I'm not sure, but I think that's an old gf of mine, Bone-nita!!

She always was nothing but skin and bones.
Heard she went to a casino and lost her shirt... maybe they meant skin??

HOT DIGGITY!! I'm in luck!!!
Computers and the Internet are amazing but what really amazes me is the technology in the new vehicles. Side scanning collision avoidance, road condition, static traction factor, vehicle location, speed, elevation the vehicle is operating in, weight distribution within the vehicle, the air/fuel mixture required for maximum performance - the list goes on and on but they all check on whatever they’re supposed to monitor at a rate of thousands of times PER SECOND and send a report back to the on-board computer. Yes, I know, these systems are dependent on one or more computers, but even the newest software for PC’s seem to have trouble efficiently performing more than 20 or 30 tasks at one time without slowing down the operations of one or more tasks. Somehow, the engineers behind these systems have figured out a way to get their computers to run continuously in any climate, processing literally billions of bytes of input, all without a glitch. I’d be willing to bet they aren’t running Windows!!
Oh, there's certainly a difference, Savanna, but I can't tell you here, what the differences are.

The only thing I can say is I'm familiar with the one like the middle picture!
