Warning Signs of the NonDominate

Did i say you did... hmm in fact i believe i said you didn't, i was just making a statement...here have a cup of coffee, a chill pill and relax.

Hey Jers .... because you quoted me, it certainly LOOKED like you were making a statement directed at me.

But, hey, I'm having my just observing most of the time. I am not a pill popper ... so I'll pass on that ...

and my opinion is that the OP and his thread is VERY interesting .... let THAT debate / SHARING of opinions continue!!

What isn't appreciated is when people poke fun at or post inappropriate things.

Who poked fun? Who posted inappropriate things??

Certainly it wasn't me, when my comment was in agreement with OMKN.

Relax ... enjoy ... smile. Smiles look good on everyone!!
absolutely no thanks!! but I know of lots of men who enjoy it!

Exactly. I feel that was judgemental and said without thought.

before you and anyone else goes bonkers with "leave our lifestyle alone" ... there is validity in someone's opinion ... it may not be your's - but before YOU judge his comment, relax and perhaps appreciate that it was his opinion to the OP statement. I enjoy coming into this forum and reading some of the posts. It enlightens me. bdsm is not my lifestyle, and neither is lgbt ... but I can and will comment with my opinion, when I read something that I want to comment on.

I would imagine most level headed people see it for what it is: an abusive relationship or self-harm by proxy.

Perfect for control freaks and adrenaline junkies, not so good for their victims - and yes, that is the right term for anyone in the passive (I won't even call it submissive) role in that "relationship"

thats one way of putting it

Why do guys seem to almost always seem like they're very interested in you and then ignore you? For example, one guy and I that I knew spent the night cuddling and kissing and later looked at me and said, "We're definitely going to see each other again." That was three weeks ago. One guy strung me along for 6 months. And guys seem to act in that manner generally. Can you tell me why? xx

Why .... such a stinker of a question!!

I liked all the responses that everyone listed here ... all can be relevant to a particular guy and/or situation. There are going to be LOTS of those types of mixed signals until The One that comes along, and it clicks perfectly. It isn't FWB, or "casual" ... it becomes a real relationship that you both want.

Patience ..... and enjoy the ones that come along and make you smile ... delete those that don't make you smile!
oh good grief!!

Go purchase a Lelo ....... that will put that silly hairbrush handle to shame.

A sub is basically asking you to micro-manage their lives for them. That is a non-trivial investment in time and energy. Roleplay is a time limited commitment.

I love this quote from ByronLord. Excellent comment|!

with your original subject heading: "My Boyfriend Wants to Make Me His Sub; What Do I Do?!?!" .... my original thought was "run!" .... but the members above have certainly given lots of advice and food for thought.

My suggestion to anyone in any type of relationship is "never lose yourself .... you will always need you to rely on" (a wise woman once told me that ... I lost myself once, never again!)

Good luck with your playing!

I did not think "Dom" at all, i thought studded bracelets! Motely Crue dude! , Not scary or offensive , just very eighties rock! Which is cool, if thats what you wanted to percieve.

I agree CD - 80's rock and what rocked then. They say Retro always comes back! lol

I don't think your av, njdom, looks like a dom av. But, hey, if you are happy with it, that's all that matters. Some here, are happy with the red and white Guest av.

I rarely find the contests with ease in the forums ... I imagine it's even more difficult for a newbie.

Is it just me or are there other people surprised to see this question on this forum?

Hahaha Trinket ... I'm with you on that!!

I'll indulge ....

I go grocery shopping a lot ... at least every other day I pick up fresh veggies.
I hate to go clothes shopping ... so I am going to say I head out there about once a quarter (four times a year is plenty for me! maybe that's too often ... ok .... included in that number I'll include gift shopping).
I love shoe shopping ... and tend to keep my eye on a few shops near work when I do a walk at lunch.

How's that??

The problem had been that she had a son 10 years younger than me. I was 32, she was 44 at the time.
I would love to hear your thoughts.

You were ten years older than her oldest? pfft .... most recently, the man I was dating was only a few years older than my daughter.

I believe that there are women who don't care about the age thing - as long as there is intelligence, respect and laughter. (that's me!)

I can't say about those women who find your situation (ten years older than their adult child) .... too bad for them for missing out on something that could be awesome! (Read Buz's story ... 10 Items or Less )

Age is truly a number ... just make sure the younger person is legal! smile

Nudist beaches are all about the freedom of not wearing clothing, NOT about anything sexual at all. If that's how you view it, don't go there. If you suddenly find you have an erection, cover yourself with something like a towel, your hat, ANYTHING! It's not acceptable to wander around in front of everyone like a mobile towel rack. Would you still get an erection at a nude beach where there are whole families together? If so, then you shouldn't be there.

Trinket is absolutely correct on this.

We have a clothing optional beach here (Wreck Beach) and it is VERY frowned upon when tourist stand at the bottom of the trail that leads onto the beach and obviously are getting a rush.

If you want to sport a hardon in a nude environment head to an open sex all-inclusive where perhaps you can get away with it. Those are usually found in warm climates.
