I met my wife on this site.

I met my fiancé on this site.

BTW, do you know if it's consider kosher to edit and repost a contest entry?

I'm pretty sure I did it with Serious Mooonlight. Like, three times, I think.

EDIT: Yeah, just checked, three times before the deadline. Weirdly, you can't edit it AFTER you win for a year or so (I tried that too).

69 is so hot, but 77 is even hotter. You get 8(ate) more

Ha! Funny.

I prefer 15. 6, then add 9 after, so I can focus more on both getting pleasure, and giving pleasure.
Ten thousand kups of köffee please. Cannot wake up today.

Weirdly, I have made no rewrites to the comp entry. I nearly always go in with edits and typo fixes at least once, to any story I submit. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I do know I submitted it sooner than I planned, fearful that I'd over-write it and mess it all up. So submitting it got it out of my hands.

Back to Shards. I've missed them.

“I love her for what she has dared to be, for her hardness, her cruelty, her egoism, her perverseness, her demoniac destructiveness.
She would crush me to ashes without hesitation.
She is a personality created to the limit.
I worship her courage to hurt, and I am willing to be sacrificed to it.
She will add the sum of me to her.
She will be June plus all that I contain.”

That's an amazing quote. I should read those letters.

It's my secret, please don't tell!

I'm telling EVERYONE!

My fiance is on here, and I have a couple friends who know. And (this will get complicated) I think I know someone on here who I know in real life, and I know vaguely here, but I am not sure they have connected the real life me with the Lush me.

Good morning luscious lushies. Had a much better night. I'll start my day with my usual hot tea. I am going to try to read some of the comp entries today as I know I won't be entering. Please forgive me Hannah. I've not had time to get it down. I seem to have hit a stall in my writing. Her drinks are on me for the next however long she chooses is worthy of not completing my entry.

DON'T TELL HER!!! Hannah will hunt you down like the creepy little girl in The Ring! And you thought Tracy Flick was scary.

On a more serious note, glad to see you are doing better. A bummer about not being able to enter, but hey, I enter a comp once every couple years, so you are doing better than I.

Should be a fairly chill work day. Köffee as always, kind barkeep.

I got my 10 votes! Thanks everyone!
Comp entry is up, ladies and germs.

Yeah, it's dark, but it's pretty hot too. A certain girl, whom modesty forbids me to name (but whose name rhymes with Blayla), said, and I quote, it made her "throbby."

So, if you want a little throb, give it a read. smile Link down below.

Read about 10 comp entries last night. Gonna be a tight contest. Lotsa good work out there.

Burrbin please.

The growth of the relationship is a mutual responsibility and always open to discussion. A dom or domme never desires their sub to feel curtailed, rather liberation through the releasing of power which allows guiltless release of inhibitions & taboos. Like a dance lovely & effortless when performed well, clumsy and difficult when not.

Well put.

I only play at the edges of the scene, but for me personally I don't think a Dom or a sub should dictate anything non-sexual in the life of their partner. Certainly not who they talk to or be friends with.

To each their own; every relationship is different.
I am surprisingly awake for a Monday morning.

It's up? Didn't see it, but maybe NF Canada didn't get it yet for some reason. I'll check tonight.

Bertha's with BBB to start the day.

Yeah, the first time I heard about it, it wasn't no my Netflix. I think they roll stuff out regionally. I remember when they first rolled streaming (before that they were mail only, but we were already addicted), and I was one of the very first adopters. I kept telling people you could watch Netflix online, but they couldn't - we were lucky to be in one of the first test markets.

Sorry P - I imagine you are with your boy, even from afar. My thoughts are with you, friend.

Sorry about your sleeplessness, Tonya. Been there.

Gill, I am here anytime, any hour, if you need to talk.

Story needs one more full draft and it's outta here. Be forewarned, it's godless and dark. My sunny disposition and bleak worldview are often at odds with each other. Maybe that's why I write.

Mostly I write to keep Hannah's hellhöunds at bay. smile

Köffee please.

Well since you asked you're not allowed to judge me or deem me pretentious though you'll probably do both but just don't tell me and it will be fine. You have to be utterly disgustingly pretentious like me and pretend you think I'm not pretentious and shower me with compliments regarding my intelligence and beauty and all that stuff to fill my empty soul, okay?

Ökay.

So the thing was that before I wrote this story I wrote a poem. And I didn't love it enough to post it but there were some lines in it that I was absurdly proud of and it seemed a shame for them to go to waste so in some parts of this story, I made sentences rhyme. I meant to add in more rhymes while I was editing but I got too sick of the story and abandoned it so there weren't many but I was still quite surprised that no-one seemed to notice. Since you've already read it, I'll post some of the lines referred to here:

The lights were too bright, the crowds too loud.

My hand moved faster, spurred on by the blurred displays of obscenity.

...because I always laughed too hard or said something off kilter, talking too fast to filter the words.

Sitting on the balcony, legs dangling, his cigarette angling to the sky, his laugh strangling the darkness until light overflowed and made me feel like every dream I’d ever had glowed on the brink of reality.

Winter came, Christmas bringing listless lingering in the warm glitter of department stores.

Soooo. There were more but you'd have to go back and find them and I'm sure you've better things to do such as GETTING YOUR COMP ENTRY DONE.

Laters, fam.

Gucci, fam. smile You are not pretentious, that is sort of the opposite of pretentious, having these hidden layers and tics in your story but not highlighting them (unless of course asked by your loyal readers). I love hearing about stuff like this. A great story, but I totally missed this little detail.
So I celebrated finishing the comp entry by watching the new anime Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters on Netflix. It rocks! The goofy charm of the originals, with the occasional truly stunning piece of animation. Lots of cameos by old kaiju too! Highly recommended, if you are into that kinda thing.

I will post my story by midweek and will start reading the others tonight. I''m psyched.

Set me up with three fingers of rotgut. Insanely early wake-up times commence tomorrow. sad

I'd read that. smile

Seriously.
Happy birthday Tony. So glad you and Lilly found each other. Such a sweet story.

Just typed THE END on the comp piece!!! Doesn't mean I'm done. But it is deeply satisfying. Lotsa editing still.

Three fingers of snake poison. Anyone else want a drink, I'm buying. And by me I mean Hannah K. Flick, who can no longer release her hellhounds on me because I HAVE A COMP PIECE!!!

Well, maybe. It's a start.

I was a hyper kid and liked a lot of action in cartoons. While like nearly anyone my age, I loved Homer Simpson, but I really loved those older Looney Tunes cartoons. My all-time favorite cartoon character is Yosemite Sam. .

Happy birthday Larry! Quite a week of awesome accolades for you!

My latest story is about a girl falling for the same guy as her sister. I kind of rushed it tbh. I also meant for it to be a sort of specific style but maybe I was too subtle or occasional about it because nobody's really picked up on it lol. Anyway it's kinda Christmas themed. Well, half of it is. Not themed. Like half of it is set in December so whatever. I liked writing it. I feel bad for rushing it though. It could have been so much more!

It's entitled Off Limits

So what exactly is the "sört of specific style but maybe I was töö subtle or öccasional aböut it because nöbödy's really picked up on it"? Your readers want to know (this me does, anyway).

THIS IS MY LIST. *horror movie music*

yadayadayada...

Köffee, please.

Special K, you've grown quite adept at the alt+148 thing. You should change your username to alt148. I would be on the verge of dropping out of this comp if I hadn't pounded out (heh) 700 words last night. And, um, 11 words this morning. No guarantees, getting this done in time will be down to the wire. It's taken on a life of its own. And might get disqualified anyway.

Hey, Laura's back! Howdy Laura!

Gill, it was nice talking to you last night.

Köffee please.

Afternoon all. Mr. P I believe you are in need of a Gorilla Killah. Jeff I just returned from a neurosurgeon. He wants me to get that stimulator in my spine. If I decide to go ahead with the surgery there is many restrictions so it won't be until my littley is in kindergarten. Pain meds for two more years at least.

And I am so sorry to hear of your medical woes as well, Tonya. My Dad lives with me, and is in a lot of pain, and relies upon pain meds as well. I hope the stimulator gives you the relief you are looking for.

A GK for the kind lady, barkeep.

Good evening y'all, it's good to be home after a long hospital day (10 hours today). Tom had tests in the eye clinic today followed by a screening by a clinical geneticist. They'll test for a specific gene to determine if he has Marfan's syndrome. After that he was admitted, because his weight is too low for the surgery he has to have. He got a gastric tube for additional nutrition while he rests or sleep. I hope he'll gain from that. All in all it has been an exhausting day.

Rump I need something stronger than a Jen's Jolter tonight. What can you recommend?

Wow, I had no idea, Pat. That must be a struggle and a heartbreak. My heart goes out to you. That must be where your endless supply of empathy comes from.

I'll buy you a good strong shot of Maker's Mark, if you like.
700 stonking words! Take that, comp entry!

Let's break out the good stuff. I'll have three fingers of Maker's Mark, if you don't mind, barkeep.
