Hello fellow barflies. Thanks for the set-up, Carl. Sorry about your Royals. Mets are playing well so far, but it's early. They won their first 11 straight last year before going into a total nosedive.

A sign of spring around these parts: hot air balloons in the sky as I make the early morning drive to school. Such a pretty sight. I remember when we first moved here and I saw them and they filled me with optimism. They still do.

I had an old beat-up Triumph Spitfire in high school, with NO extra room, but like Beth said, the fact that is was the only place we could find made it hot as fuck.

Nice to hear the sounds of jazz fill the air (thanks Ping, even if you feel jazz is like a punch in the throat) (the fact you compared bluegrass to sex makes up for a multitude of sins).

Glad to see nearly everyone who is a baseball fan in here (which is not many) saw their team win. Sorry Elizabeth, about the Nats. Sherzer threw a masterpiece last night. One mistake, and sadly it caught up with him.
