After 12 years of writing and maintaining a consistent personal style guide and editorial process, I was informed that my prose matched what moderators refer to as “The AI Voice.” No specific passages or actionable standards were provided beyond moderator intuition.

I fully support transparency around AI usage. However, I no longer feel comfortable contributing to a platform where polished human writing can be treated as presumptively suspicious without clear criteria or meaningful appeal.

Writers should be aware that consistency, revision, and heavily edited prose may themselves be interpreted as signs of AI authorship under the current moderation approach.
