Best of luck to you Nic! I started drinking at least 3 cups of coffee daily when I was 12. For the last 15 years I drink on the order of 2 full pots of coffee a day, sometimes more. I definitely have caffeine withdrawal headaches in the afternoon if I cut short on my intake. Stragely enough it's never had any affect on keeping me awake.
Any time I've considered giving up coffee, smoking, drinking and doing a full "purge" and de-tox, I've always figured I would need to take a week of vacation in a tent, in the woods, alone, and without any sharp utensils LOL Any unsuspecting hikers in the woods would likely find me doing this:

Yes, I have many, many times. Sometimes after spending some time on Lush reading stories and chatting with people....I have to go take care of things before I can drive home! Always, it's been after hours, and nobody else really left in the office. Usually, I've gone and used the restroom, but on a few occasions I've locked my door and taken care of it right in my office.
