Where the intellect touches the down right dirty and hot...

Elliott Mabeuse's "Hurts Like Love" and "A Good Student"
Shea Swain's "Chained to the Devil's Son"
Mmm...Well, the feel of a fully aroused and firm nub against the tip of my warm tongue, to suck and pull from it with my hands wrapped around thighs that tremble is heaven. And, then there is the shiver that goes down my own back as I feel it pulsating when the receiver of this pleasure comes.

Yours: I'd like give it that satisfaction.
Mine: I'd like to receive it too.
Abstinence.

Oh my Gawd, I almost said that with a straight face.
Granted, but your best friend had the same idea. Now, she's knocking at your door. And, you...are...not...home...

I wish I had magic powers.

That was SOME re-introduction hon but you forgot one of your best features - you are also one hell of a good friend! I didn't read that in your bio and it NEEDS to be said!

Your continued support of my work (amongst others) keeps me writing and your level of work keeps me reaching for the bar that you set for us all. I am proud and very grateful to call you my friend Reggie. Keep on doing what you do so well and you will have no readership worries!

People, I had to wait a while to respond to this. I tend to gush and drool all over Master Jonathan. He’s just so…real. I can’t think of a better way to say it. I could drama it up and decorate it with a lot of sophisticated words (because he has the sophistication to go with it), but the bottom line is that he is just real. He’s always so genuine. He’s the real deal and I have so much respect for him. Long before I was ever on his radar, I felt like he was the coolest guy on the site and so deserving of the title. Of course that respect extends and encompasses his beautiful wife as well. Lucky girl.

I’m honored to be on your select list of friends. I truly appreciate the friendship you have gifted me.

See, I warned y’all—gushing and drooling.

I love tats on both men and women when they are tasteful and some obvious thought has been given to them. They can be extremely sexy.
My guy appears very conservative, he's the suit and tie type. When I first undressed him and discovered the bold Gaelic/tribal tattoos he has and their placement, it
cemented just how much he truly was right for me. I like that it is a personal thing to him. It fit perfectly with what I was identifying within him all along. It's sexy as hell. I love to nibble and lick at them, run my hands along the curve and pattern.

I've seen some, however, that make me shake my head and just say "No".

I have one, and if you have seen it than you know me very, very well.
“numinous"
Mysterious or possessing a metaphysical quality, which is intangible. A numinous object or place holds an undetectable sort of beauty and transcendental atmosphere. You may use this word to describe ancient ruins, art, poetry, overall artistic expression or an experience. It is a quality, which appeals to a higher sense of your being.

I think everyone should read it twice. Then, once aloud. So, three times.

I'm serious. That was damn near art.

Such a compliment!! Thank you so much! To have you say that about my story has me smiling like crazy, with little tears. You came aboard and you have just laid out one well told story after the next. Your style is amazing and your storylines are always so interesting--and sexy. Thank you for this and the wonderful comment you left on the story itself. I'm happy dancing this morning.

It's a fine line. You have to choose things that define the character. It should be innocuous, but it should say something about their state of mind, or their personality.

I've talked about little habits the character has, nuances that identify them and make them real. Pointing out the color of the leaves on a tree can connect the time of year, but perhaps show the character has an affinity for nature. Whatever it is, it should be something that adds to the mood. That's the real trick, knowing when to add detail is important, but knowing when you are just adding chaff is equally important.

I do believe that unnecessary details ruin a story. One of my favorite writers goes back through her work and searches for things to remove. If you can eliminate anything, even one word, and it doesn't change anything about the story, than it needs to stay deleted. Every word should be placed in an attempt to tell the story, every detail should be necessary. I'm better at that in poetry than in my fiction. I tend to want to share everything that is in my mind's eye when I write fiction. I'm filled with backstory that influences action and births the character but doesn't necessarily need to be in the story. So that is on my list of weaknesses. I have to go over my list when I edit. It is sometimes painful.
I heard the word “saudade” spoken in Portuguese. The German in me will not allow my tongue to work around it. It is defined as a longing for something so indefinite as to be indefinable and it encompasses all things born of the soul that can only be felt. I ran across it in Anthony De SA’s “Barnacle Love.” My mind took off with it. I ended up writing.

Just so that you won’t think I’m completely weird, I did see a beautiful picture on Tumblr of a woman bound and hanging in the air. She looked so peaceful and content. Ultimately the combination of the quote and the picture led to my new short story Fiction.

It isn’t your typical BDSM story. So those of you that usually do not go anywhere near that genre, please don’t run. I rarely venture into the genre in my writing because I’m rather sensitive about it. I can’t bear the thought of reinforcing stereotypes already overly sensationalized. I hated 50 Shades. Fiction contains what I admire and respect about a lifestyle choice that is vast and varied. My focus is always a little more cerebral. And yes, there is plenty of sex.

My hope is that you can find some time to give the short read a look over and let me know what you think. It has been gifted a Recommended Read and I’ve had a pretty positive response. You let me know what you think.

It's a good walked spoiled.

Mark Twain ain't never lied. Or, as G.K. Chesterton suggests, it's an expensive game of adult marbles. But I do so enjoy shopping for my little outfits and bogarting the carts.
I'm with you.
Besides, I can't think of a better way to distract the opponent
and win the hand.
Im still sticking to my original choices.

Sgt. Elias' scene when he is trying to make the chopper in "Platoon" (1986)

Several scenes in "Tears of the Sun". When they pass over the compound in the helicopter and everyone left has been slaughtered. When they make the decision to take the Indigenous Africans with them and that last battle scene. I've seen it a thousand times and I still cry, scream, swear and cheer.

The funeral scene in "Imitation of Life".

The scene where Barbara Streisand gets Robert Redford to come back because she can't sleep and the last scene in "The Way We Were".

When Billie D. Williams says, "You gonna'let my hand fall off," in "Lady Sings the Blues"

When Holly tries to find Cat in the Rain in "Breakfast at Tiffany's".

Every scene in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", with Paul Newman and Elizabeth Tayler. But, I love it when Big Daddy says that line, "You have the audacity..." That's my favorite line. I was 9 yrs. old the first time I saw that film; I used every opportunity under the sun to use the word audacity (with his accent) that year.

"Last of the Mohicans". "I will find you." Beautiful stuff there. Oh and, that night when (I don't care what anyone says) they had sex.

The subway scene in "Shame". There are no words, just looks. So sexy.

Okay, that's enough.

For the purposes of this competition, please don't consider dancing a sport.

Incredibly, 71% of people believe it is, in this poll.

The Highland Fling qualifies, but we are primarily after the widely viewed Olympic type sporting events / scenarios.

Bummer, I had already started one with a Ballerina.
Right now, it's "Palm Trees in Snow". It is moving and unpredictable.

Hmm.

All of my pieces are pure fiction, with the caveat that all of the places with the exception of one are very real places with which I am intimately familiar, and I have a terrible habit of describing myself when describing the female protagonist. So halfway to H-ll? And can I bring a case of Glenlivet 18 and a case of Drambuie?

Ooo girl, you can come sit right next to me. Let's keep those boxes close my sweet friend. I've been waiting for you. ?

Whispers: Yeah, I'm working on not being the wild haired heroine of all my stories. I don't think anyone has noticed my dilemma yet though.

Happy Birthday Beautiful Linda!!
I hope I'm as cool as you are when I grow up.
