However, if a comment makes the implicit claim that "You'd be nothing without us," I think it's well within bounds to ask what the commentator brings to the party.
And beyond that, if a comment carries the message, "Give in to my demands or I'll go away," then I think it's an entirely reasonable response to say, "Go!" don't you?
The only point that I've been making is not to have a go at other members that have a different opinion.
