Home again after a very long red-eye flight. Not enough sleep. I had a lot of very unexpected fun and met some nice people. I also had time to polish a story I wrote earlier and submit it. My first fantasy story and I am a little nervous about it. Does everyone have exciting plans for New Year's Eve?

I don't have an entry for either, but I have an idea for a blue story, so perhaps team blue? It's very difficult to write about snow when it's 27C and you're lounging poolside in a bikini. It's been happening to me, too. I find that if I log out and log back in, it fixes itself. Sometimes it takes more than one log out before I can comment, though.

Well, good morning, everyone! Isn't it a glorious day! The heat wave has finally broken, and it's finally a decent temperature around here! It was a balmy -15C this morning, with a lovely wind chill to about -22C.

And – BONUS! – they're talking about a whack of snow on Sunday night/ Monday morning! It's all good!

Time to break out the swimsuit here too. Maybe if it actually gets up to -15C I will! I actually canceled a date last night after deciding that most of it would be spent thawing out. 20cms is expected to fall between now and Monday too. Hot cocoa is my new drug of choice and a space heater is my best friend. lol It has given me time to write, which is nice. I had fun with my Myth story so I'm working on another one which is surprisingly kind of humourous. So far. Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm!
