Night all just a random thought what do you say to pain 1 to ten hmmmmm I'll ask around if anyone cares

Mine was 8. It is manageable now.

I posted this elsewhere, but I would like to share it here, too. Today, August 9, we celebrate Indigenous Peoples around the world and honour the cultures, languages, knowledge, traditions and communities carried forward across generations.

The International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples has been observed annually since 1995, following its establishment by the United Nations General Assembly.

This year’s theme is “Honouring Indigenous Midwives: Safeguarding Life and Well-being,” recognizing the knowledge, care and traditions Indigenous midwives continue to carry within their communities.

From generation to generation, Indigenous Peoples continue to preserve languages, strengthen cultures, care for their communities and pass knowledge to those who come next.

Today, we celebrate that strength, knowledge and cultural continuity.

In the news north of the border wall keeping the yanks out! My one-year anniversary is fast approaching, as is my birthday! I expect Cake and a song, so feel free to rehearse! Also, I have had a health scare keeping me away, but I am feeling much better now and am going back home again today and plan to return to writing as soon as I can. I have an unfinished series with a couple more chapters that I would like to complete! After that, my wife and I have been brainstorming an actual novel incorporating elements of her heritage in a fantasy-like setting and featuring only a little (maybe!) soft core sex, but plenty of romance! That is all!

Oh, and today, drinks are on me!

Morning, Rumpies wave

I am trying to walk 2 miles today!! We’ll see how it goes. It’s taken me forever to get back up to 1 mile after that pneumonia bitch kicked my ass.

If you need me, I’ll probably be in Storeroom 4 afterwards receiving tender loving care from my boy toys. biggrin

I have complete confidence in you!

Sure. Working title is "Going Down – with a Vengeance!"

We're casting for someone who can play a sub.

Interested in discussing it? Privately?

I have my SCUBA cert if that applies! 🤣

Good morning, friends, lovers, acquaintences, and all the ships at sea!

I have … an

..... ANNOUNCEMENT!

I've just signed with Columbia University Press to write a book about the invention of a new science: physical oceanography, based on the papers left by my father, who was a pioneering oceanographer.

MS due by June 15th, 2027, which probably means a Spring, 2028 publication date, unless I can get my ass in gear and finish earlier, in which case we might make Fall, 2027.

So, forgive me if my appearances here are a little spottier than before.

Or non-appearances.

Anyway, I'm pleased about that.

Now, what's everyone's pleasure this morning?

Coffee, tea, or something with a little more striking power?

Will there be an x rated version? Hugs you. Congratulations!

Why am I having flashbacks of Deliverance? 😂

Sorry about Team Canada. As Ape pointed out, it was a historic run. And they played an amazing first half. Hopefully they can build on this and make a deeper run in a future World Cup.

Trying something new today and grabbing a cup of Lasong Souchow. And then I am off to the gym.

Have a great day, everyone!

They made it to 16! I am very proud of our team!

Thank you, David and Kat! I’m trying to stay awake to watch team USA tonight. I’m a tad perkier with steroids, but not much. Butters has disowned me until I stop coughing. Fair weather friend!

I hope you recover fully soon! Hugs!

Having one of my off days. Basically kind of fatigued and my head feels like it's to burst like those poor guys whose heads explode in Scanners. Getting better but that might just be my lunch break kicking in. I would like to blame not sleeping well but that might be a symptom rather than a root cause.

No tequila for me. It is more likely to make me feel this way than help. Just a Yorkshire Tea for now.

Hugs you.

Oh no! Thats kinda funny though. 😊 Sounds like something I would do. Can you somehow cut 300 words out?

I ended up writing a mermaid story!

Mermaid!

“Was the sex good?”

Merideth wrinkled her nose.

“She smelled like fish.”

“Duh,” I replied with a laugh, picturing her in the pool, her scaly lower half wrapped around Meri’s legs, shimmering in the torchlight as she deposited hundreds of tiny eggs into my girlfriend’s pussy. I’d just spent hours making her come as I fished them out with my tongue. It had been exhausting, but worth it. Caviar had never tasted so good.

It might not make much sense if i did! lol

I wrote an entry in Kimmi's contest thinking it needed to be 375 words and then wondering why everyone else's was only 75 words and then reading the rules more carefully! 🤣

I wrote an entry, thinking it was 375 words, not 75. I thought it was very good. lol I will try again later smile

I finally broke through my writers block and wrote a very dirty story! Here is the link if anyone is interested in reading i! https://www.lushstories.com/stories/taboo/babysitting-for-the-thompsons-1-daddy-takes-me-to-a-hotel-2 I would also like to point out that my very good friend Rowan place SECOND in the contest and I am very proud of him! His first time in the top 3! Happy humpday everyone!

Hi, Rumpies wave

Under a tornado watch in KY today. Yay! (sarcasm)

Well… crazy stuff for mirror twins. My thyroid scan revealed a suspicious nodule in exact place, opposite side, of my sisters, so now the fun begins for me.

On a good note, her surgery is over and she’s doing well. Ended up being a 5 hr surgery yesterday, more radical neck dissection, due to suspicious lymph nodes. Kudus to her surgeon for being skilled, diligent, proactive with what he was seeing.

We appreciate all the prayers and well wishes. kiss

She’s the tough one between us for sure. I’m struggling, overwhelmed, but seeking mental health help today.

Love you all! ❤️

Stay safe and I will keep both of you in my heart! Hugs. heart

Congratulations Americans!! Close game well fought. Now on to the men's tournament. Semis are tomorrow with Canada meeting Finland and the USA meeting Slovakia. So another Canada-US showdown is a possibility though one can never rule out the Finns. They love hockey almost as much as we Canucks.

The flags are all at halfmast today. The nation mourns. I have decided to wear black until we are redeemed once more. A sadness has set into my soul that I cannot shake. 😢

Thursday 19th 2026 1PM EST till ...

WINTER OLYMPIC Women's Hockey

The final match for the Gold between the USA and Canada women's hockey teams is scheduled for Thursday, February 19, at 7:10 PM local time (1:10 PM ET) at the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena. You can catch the game live on the USA Network or stream it on Peacock.

☘️

With Bear being absent I've made a bar decision, all Canadian beer in-stock will be marketed BOGO and all bar tips will go towards all outstanding bar tabs (PIngs)

Furthermore in honour of both countries ladies hockey players, each person telling our servers the official double secret password (sock monkey) can enjoy up to five (5) shots out of Bear's private stock of Jameson whiskey He's been hiding 6 bottles of Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve (2007 release),

So tell your friends and family to help celebrate both Bear's absence and the Canadian vs USA Women Hockey game.

☘️

Unfortunately, the US Women's team is unbeatable at present. sad

I only have sex online or with my wife. Or occasionally another woman that we know.

Luge scares the eff out of me. I mean, it is arguably less scary than some of the tricks in freestyle skiing but there is a sense of control that skiers seem to have that's lacking in luge or skeleton. They just seem to be blasting through those tracks with little or no control. Even bobsled has at least some sense of being in control.

I visited Lake Placid, site of the 1984 Winter Olympics, in 2017 or thereabouts. The sled track is still there and used for training so I actually got to see some runs live.

Luge looks tame compared to the skeleton! lol And what about 2 person luge!

No ETA, sadly. I flagged it to the dev team again this morning.

Weirdly, some people seem able to post replies just fine. You seem to be one of the unlucky ones. Me, well, I'm halfway between the two. When I tap in the Reply box, the login window tries to pop up but never completes. It just spins forever. If I then go Back a page, I'm still logged in, but ultimately have no way to leave a comment reply.

Bizarre.

It applies to everyone in our group. No one is able to reply to an existing reply without it logging us out.
