Please forgive my recent absence. The holidays are difficult this year as this is the first I’ve had to face without Simmie with me. Its been hitting me a bit harder than I realized
I went out to buy my Thanksgiving dinner and I will prepare a meal, but making a meal for one seems pointless. Yet, I feel doing nothing would only darken my morass.
I’m taking a few days away for myself. Hopefully I’ll be back to being myself once Thursday has passed.

David it's natural to have your feelings of missing your soul mate Simmie. My Deborah Jo has been gone for 15 years and I miss her dearly more now. May I recommend what I do, we have a "our place" and I go there and sit and talk with my Deborah of random things have a good cry. Just a anicent lion's idea.

I will be having a brain scan on Monday to see if the sinus/tooth infection has spread into my brain. Tuesday I will have the root canal, Wednesday will be a temporary crown, then Thursday we will head to Miami and Friday we depart on a three-day cruise as a distraction from all this infection bullshit.
