Yeah, Bear. I heard he wasn't Irish and he didn't drive the reptile snakes out either. Apparently the Snakes were a pagan group that he defeated in battle. Sounds a bit of a kick ass.. anyway.. if you don't have a bit of Irish in you, find someone who does hehehe xxx
May I extend a Irish American hand of friendship on this Saint Patrick's Day here in Rumps & Lush

Since Bear came in early (shocked) This leaves me to play a few more tunes .......
Much of what is known about Patrick’s legendary life comes from the Confessio, a book he wrote during his last years. Born in Roman Britain (likely in what is now Wales, western England or southern Scotland) to a well-to-do Christian family of Roman citizenship, Patrick was captured and likely enslaved at age 16 by Irish marauders. For the next six years, he worked as a herder in Ireland, turning to a deepening religious faith for comfort. Following the counsel of a voice he heard in a dream one night, he escaped and found passage on a ship to Britain, where he was eventually reunited with his family.

This ancient lion sez can't dilly-dally with our continuous storms. Last night hail and heavy storms now more thunderstorms with lightning in our area. Quite active weather.
Good Morning/afternoon, all. Your resident English Gent has just popped in to say hello and for a mug of Yorkshire tea. Cheers
Been out in the back garden most of the morning. I'm not a gardener, but there is something satisfying about removing two dead shrubs and then preparing the ground for ones that hopefully will last a little longer than five years.
