Today's release contains the following changes:
- The Search results page now has a consistent layout for its stories list.
- You can now sort the results of the search based upon a number of criteria.
- Aggregated forum posts. Posts made by the same user to the same thread within the hour will report a single time in your friends feed.
- Online chats can no longer be received under the following situations:
* Your online status is set to friends only, and they person is not your friend
* Your online status is set to block all
- Added a link to the friend/member feed area on your profile pages, More Activity >> This link takes you to a dedicated page showing either your activity (for your friends or surfers visiting your profile page) or your friends activity (for you). This shows the complete list of activity for the last 30 days. I've also added an item to the navigation for Woman so that she can get to her friends feed without having to load up her profile page.
- Avatar image loading on demand. This one is for Nic to reduce our bandwidth charges. With this new version, avatar's will only be downloaded from the server if they are visible on the browser. So if you go onto your profile page, unless you scroll down to your friends section, the avatars wont be downloaded from the server.

It is really not an issue, I like getting the ones I get. Only when I go to my phone to check out recent activities and to see if there is anything that I can mock... it just...well... the pictures you see... For I go to my profile and just use my recent activity down on the left hand side of the screen.
Ummm... Can there be a way to bulk delete things? There's no harm in asking right??? *crosses fingers and winces
I'm actually going to break out the activity section into a new page. Those of you with lots of friends or in D_D's case habitual "fuckers", its going to be much easier to see what your friends have been up to. So for Woman, you can go directly to this feed page and bypass all those crazy animated images.

It would be awesome if we could turn off the status updates showing up in our profile feeds from the forum games section. For some people who post in there every 30 seconds for hours on end, it can quickly clog all their friend's status feeds.
As much as I like to stay "in the know" about who would fuck whom, and all the things they would say and do to the avatar above them... I think that those posts tend to be fairly repetitive and probably don't need to be included in status updates.

D_D actually this is probably a useful feature to add as a default for all. What if we aggregated up all the posts for the same user in the same thread within the hour? This would apply to all topics not just the who's fucking who one.

Undeserved faith, but appreciated.
Consider Lush a four line highway. Under normal operation the four lanes are full of cars (your requests) and everyones moving along nicely. Now yesterday, as the site load is growing the system thought it would be a good idea to add an extra lane. However to do this it required to stop all the traffic, just for a few milliseconds.
These Lush drivers were having none of it, beeping their horn and shaking their first. No matter what, the cars kept coming. In the end, the system gave up trying and halted. The cars came to an abrupt halt as far as the eye could see.
During a quiet time, I manually added a few extra lanes to ensure capacity in the future. Happy driving....
PS. I dont know what this signifies, just had to try one of the new emoticons.

How about in the short term, when you get a friends request, you click on their name but open their profile page in a new tab (CTRL click or right click, open in new tab). That way you can browse their page, when your done just close it down and your right back at your open message page where you can accept or decline?
This feature is coming with the photo album's.

Similar to DirtyMartini's comment, I would love to see the links on my news feed concerning friends' forum posts connect to the post, or at least the page of the post, rather than the first page of the thread they post on. It would just make it a little easier to check out posts that they make, specifically when there is an active debate in the think tank.

I've been thinking that I would like to be able to click on a member's name (in the sender box) when they sent requests and be taken straight to their profile page where I can choose to accept their invite or not (check a box that says 'accept' or 'delete' and which one you choose takes you back to inbox after.
I like to take a stroll through a member's profile and found myself having to do four things just to accept or not (opening up mail, checking out profile, going back to messages to accept/delete, back to messages and doing it all over again).

In your private gallery: do you have the option to choose which friends get to view your personal photos? If not, could you make it a function?
Say for example when I add a friend I would like to get to know them a bit better/feel comfortable before I let them see my personal pics.

I think most people do actually mean to delete their account (after prompted, are you sure). If it was me, and I wanted to remove myself from the site, I would want to make sure it was done there and then, and not have to wait for a delay.

Sure you will. Your only blocking the story content, you will always see the full suite of categories on your profile settings page.

I have implemented the category filtering over on your Settings Page. If you choose one or more categories to hide, then you shall no longer see the categories displayed (on the left hand nav, when posting a story or searching for a member) on the site, nor stories that belong to that category.
I also added a little feature for lone_wolf. The observant viewers might notice that some stories now have a grey underling rather than a red. The grey line indicates you've already read that story.
