Hi Folks
I've just published a new release of Lush. The major changes are to the backend, so should be transparent to you. I have replaced the IM (instant message) and Online Message (black boxes) storage, so should be a little quicker and more importantly scale to many more users.
The only visible change you should see is to allow you to order your friends. This has been a long time coming I know, you should see the paper work involved in such a change.
As always, give me a shout if you see anything odd.

Opps, I managed to omit the timezone didn't I. Well its PST, where the server is located.

Hi Folks
I've been re-architecting the back end for the chat rooms and online messaging system. I need to shut down the chat rooms from approximately 12:00am on the 29th (tomorrow) for about 30 minutes.
I will be keeping an eye on them over the next few days for errors, if anyone see's anything out of the ordinary with them, please give me a holla.

I have added the option to save a chat transcript, the Disk icon next to the Emoticon.
Clicking on this icon will open a prompt to download or open a text file (depending on your browser), this should contain an exact copy of the messages you see in your chat window.
If you find any problems with it, give me a shout.

I've increased the limit from 400 to 1000 characters, may the thoughts be with you.
@Harmony, if the members thought is over 400 characters, then I shall truncate it, so not to obfuscate your other friends activity (either that or have less friends!).
I'll knock off some more of these quick wins!

I've made a change to the online status, to include a custom away message and an option to avoid online messages too. I'm not sure the intent of the change is that clear, so take a look see if it makes sense:

So we have two settings to control your ability to be contacted online, your visibility and your status. Your visibility, either everyone, friends or invisible controls, who can see you online and contact you. So:
- Use everyone so that everyone can see you online and anyone can open up a chat window
- Use friends only so that only your friends can see you online and can open a chat window
- Use block all, or invisible so that no one can see you online
Your online status, either away, or online governs whether you are available to receive a chat window or online message. So when you are online, choose:
- Away, no one can open a chat window. You may choose to not receive online messages too (black boxes) and supply an optional away message, i.e. Gav is currently on the potty.
- Online, you are free to receive chats and online messages
Does it make sense, or have I been to locked away, isolated from civilization for too long?

After our continual problems with the site, our hosting provider has requested they run diagnostics on our disk array (as we are seeing I/O errors).
It maybe down for between 1 to 4 hours, depending on how it goes.

Despite what people think, breaking the Chat window was not one of my new features.
I have cleaned out the tubes, and made the page footprint ~10% smaller, so page loading should be snapier.
Also shrunk images on peoples profile pages where its too wide for the page, thanks tommie!

I've had quite a few contact emails this and last week concerning people not being able to login.
When they login from the home page and navigate to a new page, it looses the fact they were logged on (doesn't remember them between pages). When I direct them to login from the forum it works?
Anyone else have this problem?

I have just published a new version of Lush, containing the following features:
* Member Search, find a member with various search criteria. Let me know if we need anything added.
* Images submitted appear in your friends activity list
* Fixed story search, better matching
* Left/Right arrow keys paginate through the member photo's (should help exakta66's netbook problem)
Let me know if you find any issues.
