bought some home corned and smoked "corned beef brisket" at the Celtic Cowboy BBQ, so I'm going to saute cabbage, carrots, and onion together to have with some boiled potato and the heated corned beef! Gonna have a cocktail first, and since it's such a summery day, a Pomagranitini is in order. Too bad I'm alone and no one to share with.

Have to agree with Sprite: take Game of Thrones seriously. I've known George RR Martin since early 70's, had a good talk with him last summer. He's developing a couple new shows for HBO 'cuz they love him. Must say, he does like to kill off main characters!

It seems most of the gals replying are in early 20's; so what is older? 5-10 years? more? I find myself a widower, having only been my soul mate lover for 23 years. Now she is gone. At 61, and single, it's kind of crazy even trying dating. Hard to meet people. I'll say one thing, I do like youth; I'm still learning everyday. Still have lots to teach. I'm not speaking physically, well, because that hasn't happened, but in general.

Old enough to have watched, and did, first run on tv (in grade school). Loved it. And even though I've always been a SciFi lit fan, I recognized it as poor SF, mostly, but entertaining. Onward to the movies: some were good, a few real good, some not so much. The re-boot now… Really well done. Bravo. Good entertainment. Did get confused with latest, though when they brought in "old Spock" to talk to "young Spock" forgot all about the alternate reality shit which they never explained again.
