My sister is ten years older. We are opposites in every way. She detests me on moral grounds; I am the devil's spawn. I abide her with a lethargic contempt, basking in the ironies.

Damn you! It's been so long since I have and it's too darn hot. Now I'll have to set my alarm for 4:00 am. I'm telling Miss Pixel it's all your fault.

Doc Martin boots and knee socks, khaki cargo shorts, a plaid button-down with the sleeves rolled way up, and a steel blue carabiner on my belt. Works every time.

Sorry, I thought it said "Fuck You"

You would think that LS could write in a bit of code so when a newbie posts the identical link to a pay-to-play porn site in 5 pages worth of Forum posts, it would pop up something for the Mods like "Hey, Bob. We might want to take a look at this."
I reported posts, as well as the poster's page, hours ago. It's all still there.

a cold salad of slow broiled butterflied chicken thigh over fresh tagliatelle mixed with sautéed garlic and spinach dressed with a honey/mustard vinegrette. Mt. Figueroa Danish Red lager.

It was proposed, lawyer logic, as a means of circumventing moral restrictions in texts and graphic novels. If both sides of a conflict agree to no moral code of engagement, don't war crimes cease to exist, at least in their minds? Maybe, but a lot of people are going to disagree, I think.

CNC in this context is Consensual/Non-Consent. It is a roleplay variant that has drawn a good deal of criticism. Even at its best, it walks a very fine line between acceptable kink and nope, nope, nope. I imagine there were enough of the latter from readers that a new judgement was made.

It is a set of images from your Public album that you can select to display on your profile. To set it, go to your profile, click on Edit Profile, and look for FEATURED MEDIA.

Thank you. I would never have found it. If it had "Select" it might be useful, instead of being simply arbitrary.

What is "Featured Media" and how is it set? Is it a Profile display feature? I've never heard of it.

Thanks for the info. Kinda weird….im a nice guy with no negative interactions but oh well. At least I know

It can happen by accident, I suppose, but you have no way of inquiring why.

You have been blocked by the author. I tested the two people I know have blocked me and can not like/favorite any of their stories, though I can read them.

I don't know the full parameters how a story gets to that hot list

No one does, but a cover image is a must have.

The score is a combination of the likes and favorites each story has received. If you look at a story and scroll to the end, you will see a Story Stat panel that breaks things down. Only you, as the author, can see it.

This one happens on items (like Stories themselves, and I think also Forum posts) where the Like count is correct and Likes don't disappear without a reason. The issue is that it doesn't correctly show with a red heart whether you've liked it or not. Works properly in light mode, not in dark.

Okay, but isn't Dark Mode supposed to be monochrome? I don't use except for a few tests, but all I have ever seen is a gray heart and the count. Was it different at one time?

Minor annoyance, but definitely an annoyance.

This happens in all modes. Likes are temporary, disappearing at random. It's been that way for ages and reported many times.

how to dark mode on a laptop ?

Left click on your avatar in the red banner. Select Settings. At the bottom of the first tab select Enable for Dark Mode.

An errant, ardent thought I could not shake except by shaking the tips of two fingers.

I may have figured this out. After I opened the original image post, I went to 'Like" it, but the poster had started doing an edit (they posted the wrong picture), throwing the post into Lush limbo. As soon as I went back, the corrected post was up and 'Like' worked fine.
