Can we beat this dead horse anymore? I think there is at least a spot that hasn't been kicked.

I've never heard of Reader View. I don't see a drop down on any story and Ctrl Q doesn't do anything. Am I doing something wrong or is this the problem?
G Chrome on box and phone.

I reported the (Log out) bug, and support has closed the ticket, but I'm still having the same problem when I try to reply to comments on my group posts? 🤷‍♂️

There has been no resolution to the problem that I can see. I suspect it has to do with the recent denial of posting privileges involving banned groupies. It started hand-in-hand with that "fix," but was inadvertently applied to all group members.

Weirdly, some people seem able to post replies just fine.

It is not an initial "Reply" to a post that is causing the boots. There's no problem doing that. It is replying to an existing reply. Every time "POOF" and you are gone.

It’s still not working for me. When I try to “reply” to a “reply,” I get kicked out. I’ve tried it with Chrome, Safari and DuckDuckGo. The browser doesn’t matter; the results are the same - booted out.

For me, as well.

Expectations of enlightenment. I generally wake feeling unfulfilled, but sometimes there's a pair of silk knickers under my pillow that I can't explain.

When you rocket their plums in response to unwanted attentions? Yes, that can be quite satisfying.

What do you have available to work with? Any dietary restrictions? Taste preferences?

I respect the readers here far too much to subject them to any recounting of my life's journey.

Not what has published as much as what is bouncing around in my tiny little mind.

Yes, that is in part what your Profile is for. Pimp a story, leak a tease, poll for interest. Your followers will see it and respond accordingly.

Do you need more than an update post on your profile? The people who follow you and presumably have an interest would see it.
If you mean something site wide, all authors, how would you even do that? And would anyone pour through it all or care?

I'm sure glad I did my 1 Year/100 Micros back in the olden days. I wouldn't dream of clogging up the pipes like that now, vanity be damned.

I publish one or two in a month, then wait three or four at least, as a kindness to my readers.

Page by page is all we have (she spits, having 10,000 images to deal with). I believe an attempt was made at the continuous scroll with the move to Lush2, but it proved problematic and quickly disappeared.

Heartfelt congratulations on this achievement. You are a good part of why I am still here and I thank you for it.

that witch hat with the brooch has stubbornly survived.

Brookell's micro has now floated around the first three spots on the list for almost a month. In that time, it's garnered about twenty new reads, but the likes and comments date back to October 2020 when it was originally posted.
This is nothing against her; she has all my love. It's the site mechanics that are fully broke.

In truth, this question has come up a number of times. It is somewhere on the perceptually long "We get to it" list. It somewhere around the bottom middle, as I remember.

But isn't the joy of writing and being read the real reason why we are here? That is what is so often said in response to those standing below the golden podiums, looking up and wondering. Or is it more truly the unspoken contest? Is further proof needed, just so everyone understands their place?

I skipped December 11, but today is January 11th (oops, 12th) and I figured I'd check in again. Most of the stories in the Microfiction Trending Stories banner have dropped off since November, but that witch hat with the brooch has stubbornly survived.

Honestly, it is of so little value, I've given up looking at it.

we actually drop all the names in a bowl and pick out 10. last 3 get first, second, and third place.

That explains how I got in the top ten once. I'd been wondering.

And, like you have to actually write something to win. 🤣

Well, there's my problem right there. Thanks Kimmi -- I'm making a note of it for the future.

Congratulations to the winners and big hugs and kisses to Kimmi and company for making it happen. I wish I was some sort as clever as all those who entered.
