Fresh on the heels of my Horror story for Halloween, I've posted a new Supernatural tale, set in the mystical region around Glastonbury Tor in Somerset.
I've drawn on some of the local legends, and the very special spirit of the place itself, to craft a mystical and sensual tale of ritual and sexual awakening. It's called "A Glastonbury Sacrifice", and you can read it here:

I started writing this shortly before the "Horrorween" Competition was announced, and I wondered at first if I should rewrite it to fit the competition theme. But I quickly decided that to make it more "horrific" would completely spoil the atmosphere, which was always intended to be mystical rather than creepy.
I do hope that anyone who's been to Glastonbury Tor will feel I've captured something of the very special aura of the site. Whether or not you believe any of the legends that have grown up around it, there's no denying it has a spirit all of its own.
