There's a lot of crap written about incompatible sex-drive levels - usually from people looking to justify playing away from home. The main thing it boils down to is your partner needs to know that the relationship isn't just about sex - that doesn't mean extra romancing or more foreplay. She'll know that's just the build up to sex. It's the rest of the relationship, the quality of the time you spend together and things you do to develop the relationship's future. If she feels you're slacking in off in the other departments of the relationship she's not going to be up for sex no matter how sweet you are to her.
Why not have it as user-defined instead of a drop down? That way the possessive-insecure types could put whatever they like
In my experience, girls who get off on make up sex also get off on fighting - it gets old pretty quick with me.
I came to this conclusion after a few months with someone who would start an argument as part of foreplay
I've switched between first and third for stories - sometimes quite late in the process. Scotch Bonnet was third person when i first drafted it. The main drawback is you can't really get into the head of the other characters like you can with third person.
With third person you don't need to be in the same room as the main character throughout. Usually this doesn't present a major problem in a short story - but it can in novels. Arthur Conan Doyle wrote the Sherlock Holmes stories in first person through the eyes of Dr Watson - mostly! Sometimes the stories had to switch to being told by another character when Watson wasn't around for whatever reason.
As others have pointed the story you originally referred to is in second person. As you've spotted it's a terrible way to write a story and is responsible for some of the weakest efforts on this site.
16 - you're not even running out of steam are you
15 now - any mods around? like ever?
13 questions on this one forum in less than an hour? Seriously?
Why don't you wait until someone answers your previous forum question before putting another one up
Just hammering this forum with questions like this is just annoying
Offer my assistance in case those jeans shrink
Reverse image searches only go so far, images stolen from locked forums or facebook won't show up on them.
If you're concerned about fakers, the simplest thing is just assume everyone is a fantasist. Once you do that, life on lush gets so much easier.
I will almost always leave a comment on a story i've read and enjoyed. I very rarely score stories, it seems pretty pointless to be honest - if I do it's usually to give an under-valued or new writer an extra 5 to help them on a bit.
Having looked at a couple of pieces of yours I'd have to say I'd struggle to finish them through choice and consequently would neither comment nor score. Your writing doesn't suit me - when you're not writing in second person - which I almost always find weak and awful, no matter who is writing - you're sentences are choppy, far too basic, or tiresomely cliched, breaking the flow and giving the whole thing a naive quality that isn't particularly arousing or titillating. You also flick between past and present - it's annoying. Constructive enough for you?
At any time less than 5% of the visitors on this site are signed in - you have to assume then for every 1000 views your story gets less than 50 are going to be from people who CAN actually leave a comment. Those 50 are going to be the most difficult to please. If 1 in 10 of those leave a comment, you're doing well.
As I understand it Lush ladies usually post close-up shots of boobs/pussy because they get constantly asked by men and "women" to see them. Of course some just do it because they like to show off and they like the attention. Of course others just find a porn model to put up or worse put up some poor girl's private pics up that have found their way on to some sleazy ex-gf site in a bid to look more believable - you'd have thought tineye and reverse google image search would have stopped all of that but no.
I've never posted a cock shot and in all my time here I have never had a request to put one on my profile. I've had a very small number of requests to message a pic of it but they're still waiting
It sounds like the 2008 brush off was her way of saying no in a nice way. To me it seems like this girl doesn't like to be the bad guy and instead of putting things straight she'd ignore it and hope it goes away. When she said "not now", she meant "not ever".
Time has passed and when you reconnected she probably hoped that you'd forgotten the whole thing. As soon as you brought it up, she cut you off.
From what you say, it's been 2 years since you last connected. Try again by all means but go in with your eyes open and certainly don't push things. One tip - never reconnect with someone with the question "what's wrong?" - it either sounds weak and needy ("what's wrong with me?") or it sound confrontational ("what's wrong with you?") neither of which help to recreate a connection
Well you can start by not using "write" as a noun
Welcome to Lush
I'd love to, really
One slight problem comes to mind:
10,000 miles
This should have been a poll. Possible answers could been "fried eggs", "spaniel ears", "dead-heat in a balloon race" etc
Can we have our own avatar gallery
Crazydiamond created a lovely new one for me for New Year but it means i have to save my existing one locally to upload it again when i want to change it back. It would be better if it worked like or msn where you upload them to a gallery first then select whichever av you then want at the time
