Why am I being asked to upgrade to Gold in order to comment on a story ? I thought silver membership allowed that . It always has done in the past anyway. Yet another problem for me since the upgrade.

Hi John - I have checked back through all my messages but all have been read. The number1 still periodically appears.
I have also checked and have seen that some of the authors I follow have had new stories published recently.
The message you sent me 4 hours ago appears in my inbox, but not the one you sent me 7 hours ago, although it was there before. I have tried reply but it still doesn't work but will try again later.

Hello again John. Yes this message arrived but it doesn't allow me to make a reply from my inbox. The words 'Write a reply' are displayed but are not active so I have to write this to you from the forum post. I have noticed that sometimes the number one ( 1 ) appears alongside the email symbol on the navigation bar but if I go to inbox there is nothing there. I know that various authors who I follow have made new submissions but no message advising me of this appears in the inbox. Sometimes the envelope symbol isn't displayed at all and I have to login in again even though I can access other parts of the site. I hope this extra info helps. Thanks for your attention to this matter- Robert

I have had no messages arriving in my inbox since september 5th. Even though I am quite certain messages have been sent. For 3 or 4 weeks I was unable to access Lushstories website. That problem has been resolved and I now have had access for the last week, but now have this problem with emails.

I have been exchanging private messages with another member. The last one I received was only yesterday, together with access to a photo album. She never gave any indication that she was planning to give up her membership. Indeed she was very keen to carry on writing to each other. She has posted a number of stories all of which have been well received. The last one was published two days ago. Yet I have just checked out the site and her account no longer exists and all her stories are gone. And of course I am unable to contact her via PMs.
What has happened ? Are there reasons why a person could have their membership revoked ? I realise that she may have her own reasons for leaving so suddenly. But it seems so odd that I wonder if there were other reasons.

I am British, a southerner, and that was my original accent. But I lived in New Zealand and Australia for a time. When I went back to Britain people always thought I was a New Zealander. Although much of that accent wore off after a while, some remains. I have lived in Italy for the last 15 years and as I have to speak in Italian much of the time sometimes Italian words and phrases come easier to me than the English ones. So I am a bit of a mixture really I guess. I don't know what I sound like in Italian, terrible I imagine ! So many good authors here, but a real favourite of mine is Submissivemom72. She has written a lot of stories, but in particular those of hers that are based on her true experiences really do it for me. I also like JennyGently a lot.
