I don't think it should be taught at school. Religion is just a matter of belief, not factual. If parents want their children to be taught religion they have plenty of time to teach them at home, in the evenings, weekends, holiday time etc.

Over the last couple of weeks I have had a number of messages sent to me and a lot of photos. However photos prior to 3 days ago have all disappeared, messages too. Is there a limit to the number of items that Messages can hold ? Or what has happened . Also I know how to star messages, but not the photos. Any advice ?

Thanks John I didn’t spot the link down the side. What is the significance of somebody not renewing subscription ? Does it mean that they are unable to post new stories ? Or make comments on stories and forums and so on ? Or send PM’s ? Do their existing stories remain displayed on the site ?

How can I view a list of members that I am following ? It used to be that I could view it from my Profile – it showed the avatars and names of all the people I was following, together with a link to their profile . But not any more . Any help anyone ?

This happening to me again. I am trying to comment on some photos a friend has sent but am told I don't have permission to do this, and need to upgrade to Gold. I am currently Silver and have always been able to post comments, last time only yesterday. Also I wanted to start a new topic to report this but it wouldn't let me do that either. So I hope you will pick up on this and be able to apply a solution.

Knowing this I guess the only way is to copy them to your PC and archive them there.

It would be helpful if it was made clearer what happens to messages. I lost a whole load because I didn't know they would be deleted after 2 (or 3?) months.. I also lost a lot of saved messages when we went over to the new version of the message facility.

Do messages get deleted after a certain time ? How do you save messages ? I have looked at FAQs which say you have to star them, but this all seems to refer to the previous version of messages. I am anxious not to loose some of mine.

OK, problem with sending PM's is resolved.

I seem to be having a problem actually sending messages as well. I go to the profile of the person I want to write to and open Message. I write my message in the template that is displayed, but this causes the Send button to disappear off the bottom of the screen. I move down the screen using the slider or the Down arrow, but this causes the message to disappear altogether. There is no indication that the message has been sent, and I think it has just been deleted. Any ideas ?

Why am I being asked to upgrade to Gold in order to comment on a story ? I thought silver membership allowed that . It always has done in the past anyway. Yet another problem for me since the upgrade.
