I guess I am concerned, frustrated, and confused. Over the last couple months I wrote a story from my heart and head. The theme was going forward, starting over.
Using the movements of Ravel's Bolero leading up to that final crescendo I was trying to express an emotional end and new beginning.
I submitted the story and it was rejected the ONLY objection being improper punctuation. Not only myself but others looked at the punctuation. Three of us came up with identical corrections.
I resubmitted the story and the ONLY objection was that it is not permitted to use quoted work even if you give appropriate credit. Rewritten again I took out the quotes and appropriately summarized them.
The third submittal brought a tirade that the I over corrected the punctuation and that the moderators did not have time for this. [I would have used the quotation marks but that is not allowed.]
Seems funny that other published Lush writers came up with identical corrections to what the grammar check program came up with and it was still not good enough for the moderators.
IF anyone reads my profile the user name becomes quite obvious. The big word is IF. Most people find the Corvette a very sexy car, hence 'sexyvette'. Again reading my profile and stories reveals I am a very oral lover which is the '2469' portion. Therefore sexyvette2469 truly describes me.
