Sunday, April 15.....After a couple of serious disappointments here (you know who you are) and almost nine months away, decided to give Lush another shot....putting the business up for sale to afford myself more "me" time (not getting any younger)...(STILL looking forward to sharing my mind with the right One).....

The Bible...Madame Bovary...War and Peace: A Historical Novel translated into French by a Russian Lady and from the French by Clara Bell (not the Howdy Doody show character)...nothing like 1440 pages depicting in graphic detail events leading up to Napoleon's invasion of Russia ("What? There's a movie?")...When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?...anything else by George Carlin

Favorite Authors
Well, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John of course...George Carlin as previously mentioned....Moses Maimonides (Hebrew-Spanish philosopher of the Twelfth Century)....Henny Youngman...Dr. Ruth...while never on the list, Doctor Cosby was a family friend and prolific writer, and we enjoyed dad's repeating bits from his recordings...now he's anathema....Dad we still like

Favorite TV Shows
don't have time for appointment viewing, so that leaves dvd re-runs of Gilmore Girls (everybody loves Lorelai).....all that being said, who can ignore re-runs of Seinfeld? (try celebrating Festivus without a good sense of humor).....let's not forget re-runs of Cheers as well (I wanted to rub my face in Miss Howe's hair before the series ended and she subsequently bloated up.)...how could I forget--The L Word?

grew up around 70's/80's rock which has become classic rock....love singer/songwriter stuff....dad owns 8,000 vinyl lp albums which I stand to inherit (dad, hang on please!!!)
