I've gotten questions about where some of the details in my stories come from. I've been in the habit of keeping a journal on an almost daily, or usually nightly basis for decades. So it's interesting to go back and read what I was thinking and feeling at the time events happened. So I include those details in my writing, even though some them now sound pretty ridiculous or embarrassing in hindsight. But I include them anyway since many readers can relate to those things. And hopefully learn from my mistakes and misjudgements. My family dynamics were a bit screwed up, which likely contributed to what happened later in life, as evidenced in my initial story series. But having seen much more messed up families I didn't feel as embarrassed any more to tell my own story.
I wrote stories for another erotic lit site that definitely didn't appreciate stories written from a woman's viewpoint if it involved a cheating wife. I got a lot of misogynistic feedback and hate messages. Some even hoping my character (me) would get AIDS/HIV and die a slow, miserable death. I abandoned that site completely. Lushstories has been more welcoming and accepting of women and their stories.
I have several gf's who have confided to me about their stories of infidelity over the years, and after reading my story have agreed to let me share their stories here as well, with names and locations altered to protect them from embarrassment. And they're even more surprising than my own story. I'll be getting to them later.
