Me after logging in and getting Chris' PM

Thank you so much for the honor! I'm truly humbled.
I would like to introduce my series, Tales from the Hollow.

These stories will be on the darker side with twists and turns along the way and not-so-happily-ever-after endings.

My first installment is titled Fauna, a story of a fairy, set in a fantasy world of medieval times. Fauna is the leader of a faerie army forced to defend their land against the humans.

The story tells her tale of being captured and using her wit and magic to not only free herself, but gain a knowledgeable edge in the war. I have woven in my spin on the fairytale Sleeping Beauty (with sexy bits). smile

The second installment thus far is titled Still Waters. It is a (wait for it...) tentacle story!

Valerie Lundquist is a determined young woman who sets out on a solo sailing trip to prove her worth, and possibly prove her estranged father wrong. Along the way, she encounters the challenge of sailing through the doldrums and meets what she thinks to be a friend.

It was a challenge to write a story with little-to-no dialogue, not much in the way of scenery, and a one-sided sex scene. I hope you like the finished product and will let me know your thoughts. (I personally think the sex scene came out pretty damn hot )
Wow. I am honestly shocked. There were so many incredible entries in this comp, I was just hoping for a top 10.

Congratulations to Rachel and FuzzyDuck ( ). I couldn't be more honored to be sharing the podium with two of my favorite authors.

Huge congratulations to all of the runners up too.

Also, a huge thank you to the behind-the-scenes judges. It is a thankless job but I can speak on behalf of all the entrants when I say you are greatly appreciated.

Finally, thank you to everyone who read my story (especially those who scored and commented). Party at my place!

I don't have any grandparents or parents to worry about, but I'll keep your kind offer in mind smile

Where would society be if we all thought like you, 'What's best for me?'

Oooh... I know! Still living in caves.

A recent study published in Health Affairs, for example, compared the COVID-19 growth rate before and after mask mandates in 15 states and the District of Columbia. It found that mask mandates led to a slowdown in daily COVID-19 growth rate, which became more apparent over time. The first five days after a mandate, the daily growth rate slowed by 0.9 percentage-points compared to the five days prior to the mandate; at three weeks, the daily growth rate had slowed by 2 percentage-points.

Another study looked at coronavirus deaths across 198 countries and found that those with cultural norms or government policies favoring mask-wearing had lower death rates. - UCSF: Special Notice Concerning COVID-19

You cannot dispute science. Wear the mask.

Not exactly sure what this otter is doing, but in my head she's saying:

"Congratulations, Buda. Connn-gratulations."

That was you? Came into my cafe spitting rainbows all over? Made a God-awful mess you know. Anyway, it wasn't so bad to clean up, but you left your wallet...there was no money in it, by the way.
I shall go for three things dull, option C.

1.SXuUHS2QCiRl
*NOTE: This is not only dull, but this particular video of the test pattern is ONE HOUR long. While the question of why we would need a color test patern that is one hour may seem interesting enough, you may notice that 296,335 people have viewed it!! What the actual FUCK?

2. Queuing... pretty much anywhere!

3.
ok so Cher is not boring, but entertaining and i think you know why i am posting it.

I have had a few readers say they wont read a Gay Male story from me.

I think that's silly that someone wouldnt read your story because youre not a gay male writing it. I dont think Stephen King is a psycho-murderer, yet he seems to tap into them pretty decently. I havent read your story yet, Kimmi, but it's definitely on my list.

People are who they are and their natures will eventually prove out.

Have you ever gone fishing?

Most call that trolling.

Anyway, we have all moved on to Why Story Moderation is Great.
