Morning all Y’all. Thought I was better with this cold but took a turn fir the worse over the weekend. Now it’s a chest cold. Don’t have time for this nonsense. I have to pack up my daughter’s apartment for her move. Ugh! I just want to feel better. Hit me with some tea please and thanks. Hope everyone else is having a lovely week so far.

This is actually hilarious. You must know that my nickname growing up was Grace, because I was anything but graceful. (My sisters were a sarcastic lot).

My hubby took an earlier flight home and is taking me out to lunch. I still feel kinda crappy, but since I haven't left the house since Monday, I said sure, let's go out. LOL

Hoping Tonya's surgery is going well.

I will have to make sure to read Curvy's entry. She gave such a lovely comment on mine. I had to reread it, she made it sound so good, lol!

morning all y'all! I'm having trouble shaking this cold, so I will take my tea with honey this morning. I am leaving tomorrow to spend 10 days with my youngest daughter. The weekend in Orlando and then I'm heading back with her to help her pack up and move into a bigger apartment with her boyfriend who is finally moving down to be with her. They've been doing a long distance relationship and she finally said, if I'm the one, come be with me. Smart girl!

I spent some time reading comp stories yesterday, lots of great stories. I have plenty more to read. My little witch story seems pale in comparison, but it's a fun read according to the comments so far, so if anyone feels so inclined...

We saw Zombieland Double Tap last weekend...fun zombie romp!

Good morning! I finally am starting to feel human. It's been a rough couple of weeks with my back and then a nasty cold that knocked me flat. I finally submitted my comp story yesterday so now I can start reading the other entries. I've got a guy coming to install a programmable thermostat today so I will have time to read for sure. I've learned that when they give you a window of 9:00-1:00, it means 2:30. LOL. Thanks for the brownies as well CG. I haven't even felt up to baking lately, which is so unlike me.

I'm just trying to get better before Friday. Then I get 10 days with my youngest daughter. I'm hoping that there will be trick-or-treaters at her place.

Dragging myself in for a cup of tea. Been fighting a nasty cold. I will sit over here in the corner where I can't breathe on anyone. House guests are all gone...nice quiet day. Wish I felt good enough to enjoy it. LOL

Ambidextrous here, although there are some things I generally prefer to do left handed and other things I prefer to do right handed. I can write legibly with both hands. When I was a teacher I would freak the students out by writing with both hands at the same time on the white board. Lol.

Good morning and thanks for the tea and the apple cake. I’m finally turning a corner with the back. I am so grateful to wake up to very little pain this morning. Made some progress on my Halloween story but my sister is in town for a week and is sleeping in our office/guest room. So it will have to wait until she and my brother leave next Saturday. Ah well. Maybe that will help! Lol. Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Thank you for getting everything ready as usual, CG! Pain is a bit less today. I actually slept well last night, so that helps. Patience and time is what the doc says. Lol.

I'm still feeling miserable with the back pain. Apparently when you tear the muscle it takes a long time for it to heal. Add that I am a million years old, and the healing process takes longer. I'm just frustrated because I am a person who likes to be active, and this is killing me.

Sigh...it's too early for a beer here so I will have a lovely cup of tea and try to stop whining! My back pain may be uncomfortable, but it will get better.

Good morning all y'all! Back is making progress, but not fast enough for my liking. Although patience isn't my strong suit. But compared to some of the other woes around here, I've no right to complain. Verbal I hope the pacemaker does the trick for your dad.

Besides, I would have a tough time getting rid of toys. I made my hubby do that part when we were getting ready to move last year.

Been laying low with this muscle pull in my back. It’s one of those things that just is going to take time to get better. It just sucks because it infringed on my weekend. Ah well.

And a lovely morning it is, or would be if the little boys who are howling like wolves would knock it off. I am enjoying watching the men who are trying to fish from the shore be swarmed by seagulls and a couple of cranes. I am not enjoying the raucous group of women having a girls’ week who are renting my neighbor’s place. Apparently it’s NOT going to be a quiet Sunday morning. Lol.

Been fighting muscle pain in my shoulder/back all weekend, so a soothing cup of tea sounds delightful!

The Astros beat my Rays rather soundly and look like they will take the series. Ah well. I think the Astros are going to win it all so there’s that.

Let me know if I need to bake again soon!
