Mmm, shower is nice
Hot water raining on us
Steam swirling around
Quote by Lauradj
Whelp, my mans is gone. He's gone for three months on a stupid out of town job contract, doing mechanical engineer work for a huge NZ based, multi-national Dairy company (they rake in billions upon billions of $$$$ each year) Obviously I'll still get to see him sometimes and we'll text/call each other every day, and it's only for 3 months, but it'll be weird for the first few weeks or so, without seeing him everyday. We're best friends, and that is what I expect I'll miss the most (as well as the sex, and the feelings inside that go along with telling someone you love them, and hearing it in return) so I'm anticipating that to be the hard part, not having my best friend close by.

Anyways, I'll start on the bar duties, get BB de-sludged and ready to go, setting up glasses and cups for tomorrow. I did some baking today (I fed up T before he left, as well as packed him all sorts of treats. Don't want him going hungry) so if anyone wants some cinnamon rolls I made, as well as cheesy bread sticks, feel free to just take, take, take. Get em' while they're hot.

You had me at Cinnamon Rolls! I'd love one with some tea. Aww, I feel for you with your man gone. FaceTime helps if you can swing it. Waiting for my man to come back from India. He travels every week. When it's US or Canada, he is usually home every weekend, but his trips to other continents are anywhere from 2-4 weeks. I can vouch for the fact that it's hard when you miss having your best friend not by your side. But the homecoming is always a sweet one. Hang in there!
Why must we choose? I'm with Grace on this...I want both! But apparently I had to choose just one in the poll...so I chose Ginger of course...I'm a red head!

Howdy folks
A large sweet tea please
Any brownies left ?
Had to go grocery shopping and it was too busy for my liking

There should have been brownies left. I brought in a plethora of them! Lol.
Hope you got one. I hate when the grocery store is crowded. There is on store by us that gets so busy you can’t find a parking spot there st times! I drove around the lot one day for nearly 10 minutes and then said forget it and stopped at the gas station food mart for eggs instead.

Let's mess up the bed

Thank you thank you, I sure could have used these this morning at 3;30am, when my sugar decided to drop to 43.. Called Milik at work and he came flying home bring chocolate . I was already downing a coke trying to bring it up. It took untill 6 am till we felt safe enough to go to bed. Thanks so much for your hug, meant a lot to me.

Good morning, Everyone, sorry if I haven’t mentioned you by name, Milik and I had a rough night last night. But hello to everyone..

Can I get a unsweetened tea please.. xo

Hugs...I'm just glad you are doing better!

thats right around the time I started doing Novel networks running windows 3.1 maybe a tad earlier ( in time) ... then windows NT server. i think it was 4.0 though. then y2k came and Windows 2000 with Windows NT workstations or XP shortly after..

Some of those old unix machines I converted over to Red Hat Linux systems, most of them were webservers anyway so just converted them over to that running apache.

I used to work for GE, had a huge data center... Still ran HP openview to monitor all the stuff.

Got laid off, worked on a large project somewhere else, for about IDK 5 years or so, then went back to GE as a contractor , but i had enough of the over management by then and said fk being anything but a contractor here, so i took the job where I'm at now, been here about 13 years.

I mostly sit around the bar and drink tea till quitting time and then beer.

Stop it! All this tech talk is far too stimulating....lol

I would love some tea please!! I come bearing gifts....more brownies of course!

~~Katastrophe...the red headed brownie goddess....

Hugs for Simme given, Kat. This is about the only situation that will get her to drink a regular coke.

I’m a crystal light guy, myself. It’s a good drink to hide my rum in?

Clever man!

Luca, I don’t know you but I’m touched by your story. When I was a mod I used to tell inexperienced writers that the key was respecting their own work. I struggled a lot when I got started, so I know how you feel.

Curvy, good to see you around. Simmie has an unexplained drop in her bliss sugar tonight so I’m staying up with her while things settle down.

The contest realists should be in soon so I’m
Looking forward to that.

Okay, decaf for me as well. Stay safe fellow Rumpians

Edit, did someone say brownies ??

Give Simmie a hug from me!

And yes, brownies...some people are addicted to eating them, I am addicted to baking them!
Good morning from the beach. A cup of tea and a brownie sound like a great way to start the morning. I managed 6 hours of sleep, albeit not all at once, but sleep just the same. I will bake another batch of brownies later in my sparkly kitchen!
I Believe (When I Fall in Love It Will Be Forever) was written by Stevie Wonder and Yvonne Wright and performed by Stevie in 1972. It is an amazing song and I LOVE his version.

It has been covered by at least 32 different artists over the years, including Peter Frampton, George Michael, Sergio Mendez, Michael McDonald, Macy Gray, Josh Groban, and many more.

But my very favorite version was done in 1975 by Art Garfunkle on his second solo album, Breakaway.

You passed the test....I only like a handful of songs by Tesla...but Nikola? He's fuckin' hot.
I have one perfume that I have used for years, my signature scent. Just a hint...

Kat. Is that short for Katastrophe? It keeps with the Kat5 theme.

That's hilarious...I am sure my husband thinks so at times...

TG, coffee's hot and strong. Enjoy.

I think the world would stop turning if I actually drank a cup of coffee, strong or otherwise. I'm a tea kinda girl, but thanks!

*whispers* I'm Welsh and I live in Ireland, so I s'pose that's near enough!

I think you need another of your brownies to go with your cuppa to help counterpart the contractor row!

More beer please, Rumps!

I'm ready for a beer please. Contractors are all done. Now there is just some painting to do both inside and outside to finish off the window fix. "Do you want us to make another appointment ma'am to come back and paint? NO No I do not! I can paint (or my hubby can paint when he comes home from India) but I am not making another appointment!" Not one contractor showed up on time through all of this work. Why give a four hour window when you're going to show up an hour past that? DEEP BREATH!! LOL

Ok maybe a brownie to go with....lol
