Different people will answer that in many different ways. I had to do a double take though, as I am a red-haired, bi female whose husband travels all the time for work (which sucks since we also both love sex). I thought for a moment that I created an alter ego while sleepwalking. LOL.
Seriously, my own opinion is make sure your partner knows what you are up to, otherwise it can damage your relationship. But I can't speak for everyone. Just my humble opinion.

You prepare for a Hurricane that changes direction with 8 cases of water and a portable generator and gasoline and flashlights and batteries and candles...and extra food (for the people and the cat) and everything else on the list....you feel grateful AF that it didn't come your way but decide to leave it all handy just in case...and then rip open the top of your toe running into the box of supplies. Seriously????

Tea please and thanks! Off to show my friend from up north around and do some shopping. Then to the beach as it looks like another great day until later. Probably get another storm tonight. Looks like Dorian has shifted and I can’t say that I mind. My hubby and my friend are both leaving tomorrow (after the Rays game of course!) and I take care of my disabled brother who is freaked out by storms. If all we get is wind and rain I’d be grateful. I’m hiding the extra supplies in my room so he doesn’t worry. Stubbed my toe on the box with the flashlights and batteries. Better to be over prepared. Praying for my East coast friends and relatives. I have 2 aunts in their 90s in memory care. I’m glad they have a good safety plan there!! Enjoy the day everyone!

It’s been a beautiful day today here on the west coast of Florida, but you can’t buy water anywhere and most of the gas stations by me are closed. So glad I have a generator with extra gas ready to go. And my 8 cases of water are ready as well. We are being told that if we are staying to make sure all of our outdoor furniture is brought in and that we may not be able to get any gas for awhile. My car is full. I’m all set for now. Been enjoying a visit from a friend from up north today who showed her true friendship colors and didn’t back out on the trip down. Yay!!!
I will keep ya posted but I’m safe and sound for now.

I’ve dealt with suicide of students, family members, and my own failed attempt years ago. There are no easy answers. I’m grateful to be alive and know that I am lucky that I was able to find a way out of darkness. Not everyone does.
Maybe add a touch of whiskey to that tea please.
