I've been working on a story about a BDSM VRBO in Atlanta. It's almost ready!

I've also been focusing on Mac and Grace as well as Olivia stories.

In there somewhere, I have a couple of purely fictional stand-alone stories that will likely see the light of day eventually. I've been busy trying to keep all the balls in the air lately in real life. But the words are flowing again. And for that, I am grateful.

Currently making our way around Atlanta on our trek back home. If all goes well we will back to the beach by supper time.

I’m in the midst of trying to see if I can still come up with something for Kimmi’s challenge. We shall see!

Today is the last day of my lengthy vacation. A couple of days in Atlanta, then 2 weeks on Mackinac Island, followed by a long weekend in Ontario, were all amazing for the soul. But yesterday we arrived in Tennessee, and I'm blown away by the view from our "glamping" geodome. Hubby had to do some work this morning, so I thought I'd pop in to say hi. Heading home tomorrow and then back to reality. But when reality includes a beach, it's hard to complain.

My son has been dealing with some health issues that make my sinus issues seem paltry by comparison, but he has several specialists now, and we hope that one of the paths will offer a solution, not simply pain management and multiple trips to the ER.

My sinus issues are no better, but no worse. I guess I need to decide if I want to try the surgery that the rhinologist suggested or consult with an infectious disease doctor. I have another month of the current protocol, but honestly...not much has changed. Sigh...

I have been doing some writing here and there. Nothing is ready to publish, but some fun stuff once I have time to devote to writing. I have also been trying to wrap up the latest storyline for Mac and Grace. Grace and I have been debating things...she will likely win...she typically does. It's fun but also somewhat obnoxious to have a character be so bossy. LOL.

Although the most active group I particiapate in is Salacious Interrogatory. That group is very active but the owner has been deceased for a number of years. And of course he has the 90 day message.

Daphne has done an amazing job of keeping the group running after SS’s death. I’m a member of that group as well and enjoy the variety of different conversations and topics. It’s a fun group with great people. 😎

I hate to join a group and then find out it’s moribound and then have to unsubscribe.

If you search groups and sort by Trending, it will give you the most active groups first. A quick perusal of the first several pages reveals many active groups. It would be nice if there were dates, but barring that, using the search feature should help.

You can also try reaching out to the owner of the group to see if it still active.

Just my two cents:

As a group moderator, I try to take some time every once in a while to eliminate groups that have zero members, zero posts, and zero media if they have been sitting dormant for some time (I try to give newer ones time to get established).

When looking at groups to join, I personally click on it, and make sure there is some regular activity. Otherwise, it's not worth my time.

As is typical I have several things I'm working on simultaneously. My brain works in mysterious ways. More Mac and Grace, of course, and some Hot Wife Hotel that I've been meaning to get out there sooner than later. But also, a story that started in my head as a standalone story but it's starting to become longer than I anticipated, so I might have to make it a 2 or 3 parter. (honestly I dreamed last night that I made it a new series, which is also possible).

Yes there is a redhead who figures prominently. But the main character is a man whose life hasn't turned out like he planned.

I hope to get something completed next week while my man is traveling. I tend to stay up late when he's gone and I often do my best writing at night.

Popping in to say hello! Hope all y'all are doing well. Had a recent lightning strike that wreaked havoc with our building's fire protection system, and several condos have had leaks from their sprinkler heads and in the walls from the pressure. So far so good in my place. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Went to get new vials of allergy serum. The ENT decided I should do shots every 3 weeks instead of every 4 weeks. Thinks it could help my sinus issues. I'm not convinced ANYTHING will fix my sinus issues, but since I did say I'd try almost anything, it seemed like a reasonable thing to adjust.

My youngest and her husband are on their belated honeymoon and I sent them some money last night to enjoy drinks on us. She sent me a thank you message and said, "You didn't have to do that, you and Dad gave us a wedding!"

I said, "I know. But this is your honeymoon present."

I'm of the mind that I should enjoy doing little things like that while I'm still around to enjoy seeing the joy it brings others.

Disney has four parks now, WW: Magic Kingdom (where your beloved Space Mountain and Tomorrowland Transit reside), EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. EPCOT looks a LOT different than it did back in 1997.

Living less than two hours from Disney, we typically get there 10-12 times per year, sometimes going twice in one month, making very good use of our Annual Passes.

Our oldest grandchild will be coming to visit by himself this summer, and my husband INSISTS we MUST take him to MK and EPCOT. LOL. Needless to say, our grandson is excited beyond belief. I think my husband might be even more so. 🤣

Peeks in. Kinda quiet in here. I took off to Magic Kingdom yesterday. It was a “just because we can” kinda trip. We finished the day by taking the monorail over to Epcot to pick up our Annual Passholder magnets. Was a fun day!

You don't need to wait a few weeks to submit your story. I always suggest 3-5 days after the last one to be courteous. But don't be alarmed if the approval process takes up to three weeks.
