What is the deal with posting stories here? I wrote and posted a story almost three weeks ago and it is still “currently being reviewed”. The story was only 1,000 words and was not controversial in any way. I have written another story, currently in “drafts” because I apparently can’t post again while one is being reviewed.

I checked to make sure that your story was published. At the time of this posting, you'd been a member for 16 days. Even if you submitted your story on the day that you joined, that would be a smidge over two weeks. Stories for members who are not Platinum or Gold can take up to three weeks when the queue is overloaded (as it is and has been for some time). You managed to get yours published just under three weeks. I'd say that seems fair. We are all volunteers, and we do the best we can. Patience is a virtue, and is much appreciated. 😎

I keep going back to a story I started a long time ago, seeing if I can edit it into something worth reading. I've got some Hot Wife Hotel chapters up my sleeve, and I'm working on giving Reina a part 60 of The Office Whore.

But my main focus right now has been a story about... well, I don't want to give it away. LOL! 😉

I'm sorry to have been so absent as of late. But I'm back and trying to catch up with everything.

I plan to read Rump's regulars' comp stories first before I get to others.

Popping in for a Coke Zero and to update all y'all on my never-ending sinus saga. Long story short, the rhinologist hasn't proven to have any better ideas than the ENT. But before I do another surgery (which won't cure the infection, but will help it drain better...so for now that's a hard pass for me), she has another antibiotic rinse to try for three months.

My immune system is trying very hard to kill this infection, but it has evolved into a superbug. 😕

We did enjoy our time in Michigan, but my son ended up in the ER twice over the weekend and is dealing with an ongoing health issue of his own. Never a dull moment in this family!

Hope all y'all are hanging in there. I miss the grandkids, but I'm happy to be home where it's warmer. 😎

It’s cold and gray here up north but my heart is happy. My littlest little is 2 today and happy to see her grandparents. She’s too little too understand that we came a long distance to be here for her bday. But with a reception like we got, she sure appreciates it! ❤️

A friend was visiting this week, and she brought two other friends whom I have met previously. When I said how nice it was to spend time lounging by the pool because I don't get to do it every day, one of those friends asked, "Why not? You're retired. What do you do all day?"

I REALLY wanted to say, "I write erotic stories, and I spend time moderating stories that other erotic authors write." But rather than being as bitchy as I was feeling, I simply said, "Oh, this and that."

We had my neighbor over for our annual St. Paddy's Day feast, although we were minus her husband this year, as he is in memory care. Kevin made corned beef, soda bread, and red potatoes, and my neighbor made cabbage and a lovely green cake. I brought the Guinness. (Sorry, David, I'll um... pay you back somehow...).

Feeling a bit irritated this morning that my two-hour penicillin testing appointment that was scheduled for April 16 (which was already a wait of three months) got cancelled because the tests are on back order. So, now I am on a wait list. I would bet money that my turn will come up while I'm traveling in Michigan in late May/early June. Grrrr...

My bloodwork came back off for some or another immunodeficiency...will need to wait for doc appt on April 14 to see what's what.
