I've done it twice now and depending where my new job will be I'll move again where ever.
When I moved to the US I packed 1 suitcase, 1 sportsbag and 1 laptop bag. That's it.
When I left the US and came back to the NL I threw away a lot, sold a lot and gave a lot to friends. All I shipped back was work documents, CDs/DVDs, books. Total of 6 boxes which costed me close to $1800 or so to ship. Then upon arrival in the NL they were locked away until I could show proof of actually living here again haha.
I'm afraid of unpacking most of the boxes since I'm sure there's plenty damage to my stuff.
Moving fucking sucks but I do try to move as light as possible and just buy new shit when I move to a new place. Ikea makes my world a better one.

That youtube trailer is a Belgian movie based on a true story. I'm not sure if the movie was in the Dutch cinemas last year but I haven't seen it yet.

There's many more but the first 2 are indisputable classics and the 3rd one is a new scifi from last year with an excellent performance by Sam Rockwell.
Of course none of these movies is fast paced or packed with action but rather slow, beautiful and thought provoking scifi movies.
