I'm a bad speller, and I'm a bad typer, and I'm not very detail-oriented. The Word spell checker helps some, but it's a real blind spot for me. For me reading it over and over and over is the best solution, and even that doesn't always work.

How y'all are? I'm back from my first extended one-on-one with the world's most perfect great-granddaughter, Ms Addy Lee. Out get together could not have gone better, mainly 'cause she sleep for approximately 99.9% of out time together. Seems I've always had that effect on females. (sigh)
Verity, congrats on that rejection. Now all you'll need is a one-vote to become a surreal Lusher, so to speak. BTW, and just for the record, you are a damn good writer with the potential to become a great one with a bit of learning and practice. So keep on keeping on. Just remembered that rejection was for a poem for which I know next to nothing instead of prose of which I know only a very little bit more. (blush)
