I joined Lush to read the occasional story. Perhaps someday I’ll contribute a few of my own. I am a grateful admirer of the incredible female form, especially Feels a little childish using that emoji, but I’d never seen it before and couldn’t resist!

I’m a guilty people watcher, always interested but concerned about appearing lecherous. Along with that comes a curiosity for how that person lives. Are they happy, sad, involved, lonely, feeling trapped, successful, struggling?

I may wonder what they do behind closed doors, or would like to do…

I enjoy revisiting past personal escapades in my mind, sometimes embellishing them with added details or exploits that may have come to fruition if there had been more time, or another encounter.

I don’t kiss and tell with my male friends, and I’m not interested in hearing about their experiences, especially ‘brags’. I will quietly and attentively listen to any of my female acquaintances talk about sex and relationships with great interest.

I generally prefer reading stories written by women, although there are many talented writers on this site. I consider myself to be somewhat vanilla, however reading stories written by some of the tremendous female authors here has helped me bridge a gap between respect and what I may have grown up thinking were disrespectful or socially unacceptable sexual acts. I did not expect to find personal growth and enlightenment amongst what I thought would be a few cheap thrills.
