Fingertips draw scripture on my skin like a prayer,
Peeling away confessions layer by layer.
Listening to my sweet sounds like a hymn,
Oh dear Lord, I know I’m about to sin.
The choir sings in the distance,
How easily I lose my resistance.
Your voice like a celestial sound,
As you take me gracefully to the ground.
Singing of how they have found the light,
All I want is you within the shadows tonight.
Passion swells as your lips meet my neck,
Melting my holiest defences into a wreck.
Stained-glass glistening on sweat like a rainbow,
Each touch stripping more of my halo.
Lack of silence, steadily steals my salacious confession,
While you perform a ravenous resurrection.
Tension rises as I enjoy the forbidden fruit,
My incoming climax is absolute.
As I grasp for you my unholy salvation,
I know that wine led to my delicious damnation.
