It is just amazing to me, that you were the one to see.

You looked past all the obvious things, found my passion and gave it wings.

Just as it was about to take flight, fate stepped in and caused a plight.

I longed and searched for that prize, I wondered if you were telling lies.

Always in a state of limbo, kind of made me feel like a bimbo.

Then what do you know in steps fate again, what I wanted fate did send.

It didn’t come in the package I was expecting, but that sleeping passion it was certainly affecting.

He started in straight away, trying to please me instead of just wanting to play.

Sent me pictures of his eyes so blue, when I really wanted pictures of you.

Doing everything that I asked, telling me all about his past.

Saying all the words I longed to hear, that used to come from the one I hold dear.

Now I suppose only time will tell, if we last awhile if we jell.

Though it feels good and I think he’s sweet, it was always from you that I craved that heat.

Maybe someday you will return, then once again our passion will burn.
