I don't take pleasure from your pain

I call you to ensure you are not broken
When I come to you, you are already broken

I come to begin your healing
There is first the pain of cleansing your wounds

Then there is the pain of bandaging you to me
When you're healed there is the pain of removing my bandage

Then you hurt yourself with another man.
I call you to ensure you are not broken.

If you are broken by someone
I return to show you to yourself.

You see me as one who brings you pain
I see you heal yourself when you see yourself
