It was in the stillness that I saw her first

Serenely still

Within her own peace

Quiet

Confident

Sure and certain

Yet without pretentiousness

Drifting by on the breeze 

I alighted close by 

Danced my rhumba

And she stretched out

Touched me with her presence

She took me close

And I danced 

To melt her chalice

I awoke from my dream 

My moments of eternal joy frustrated

Now .... waiting
