When the sun shines, 

And the moon slowly dances across the sky.

It’s easy to love and be loved.

But, when the storm clouds of life gather,

And thunder rips across the sky, 

From the horizon of one day to the next.

When darkness smothers the soul,

Love can seem both out of reach, and hard to feel, in return.

You may be, but a candle in my darkness,

but,

Through you I see,

Through you I feel,

Through you I have hope, 

Through you, I have life, 

And within you,

I desire to plant my seed.
