Love this show, which is at least a half-decent crime drama, but what makes it sizzle is the rampant bisexuality (amongst the women, anyway). I enjoy TV and movies with straight or gay/lesbian characters getting it on ... but characters enjoying the differing delights of both men and women are even hotter for me, as a bisexual person.
Having been in Netflix's #1 spot for most of the time since it was released, this show has gotten plenty of attention: for the bad wig, the hateability of almost every single character, the stereotypes of both the Texans and the Bostonians (as well as pastors, small-town cops, you name it), the mid-season transition from sleazy and steamy to the constantly shifting Whodunnit (without losing the sleazy and steamy), the plot holes, the loose ends...
Despite the flaws, ever since Margo and Sophie first met in the bathroom, I've been captivated by their escalating intimacy and their volatile relationship, as well as by the sexuality between other characters, including that juicy pegging that Callie gives her Sheriff hubby. Seeing the depiction of Margo's relationships with her various partners, each of whom fulfills her in different ways that aren't just sexual ... that, to me, is the pinnacle of bisexuality's rarely fulfilled potential. I cannot think of a TV series that's made me hard so many times.
Anyone else been checking this one out?
