The Oscars are pushed back this year so most of the contenders will be coming out in the next couple months.
I honestly can't think of many movies this year that I could put in the "best of" list.

I think My favorite is Devil All the Time, although I'm biased because I read the book twice before the movie came out.
I haven't seen a lot of the new releases yet and I think this will be a pretty bad year for film over all.

I just Watched Promising Young Woman for the second time. It's very good, and very original.
I'm sure there are some shit bag anti SJW people that will piss all over it but I watch a lot of movies.... and this one stood out. Great cast too.
And that ending is a punch in the gut. I loved this too. I didn't see many movies, so I guess this gets my vote.
Shirley was really good. I don't even know if it's up for anything, but if nothing else Elizabeth Moss deserves a nod for that performance.
And I loved King of Staten Island too.
