I'll answer with what vinyl I have been spinning jazz-wise lately. Alice Coltrane- Journey to Satchidanda, Art Ensemble of Chicago-Great Black Music Message to our Folks, Sonny Rollins-Horn Culture, The Best of Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Miles Davis- In A Silent Way, Charles Mingus-Pithecanthropus Erectus and Ah Um

Chick Corea🍷😊

A secret isn't a secret if 2 know it🤐

I'm a SoCal west coast cool sort of girl -- Shorty Rogers, Stan Getz, Chet Baker, Brubeck, Mulligan, Desmond.

Huge fan of Big Band Jazz, from Dorsey, to Woody Herman, Stan Kenton to Buddy Rich, Basie to Gordon Goodwin. I love the tight integration on the horns with the rhythm sections and the swinging melodies.

It's my favorite kind of music.

Dave Brubeck

Big Band in general, though I don't think of it as Jazz especially

Some New Orleans stuff

Ever notice that most "secret agent" movie themes are "jazzish"? Check out the Danish Symphony Orchestra's "Agents for Forever" if you can find it (here's the only place other than Symphony.live that I found it https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1xA411x7uf?t=27.6)

I always enjoyed Weather Report when Jaco Pastorius played with them

I prefer Dixieland jazz, clarinet and tuba instead of saxophone and string bass. I have had Paul Cosentino's Boilermaker Jazz Band on repeat while writing my series All That Jizz set in 1926. I also like ragtime, but only in small doses; after 15 minutes it all sounds the same. 😄

True Micros! 100 words, 100% true!
