And stage. And movies. And life in general.
Live long and prosper, Leonard, wherever in the final frontier you have gone.
I've been in an emotional funk all day over this. Seriously tragic.
You know, the more I think about it, this really is the end of an era in Trek. Leonard was only cast member from the original unused pilot "The Cage" to be picked up for the series ("The Cage" was later edited into a series of flashbacks in the episode "The Menagerie"), one of only three original cast members to appear in The Next Generation, and the only original cast member to appear in the recent movies by JJ Abrams, giving him by far the longest run of any actor in a single part in the franchise (the late Majel Barrett-Roddenberry may be a close second but played a different character in each series in which she appeared).
Isn't this unfair.....I mean how can God be this unfair with ys .Leonard Nimoy was easily one if the greatest actor the world had ever s een and then He takes him away......
A science fiction icon. For a character who spent so much time in space, Spock had such gravitas. I never met Mr Nimoy but I know people who did and by all accounts he was just the nicest man.
Such a shame. He was an incredible sci-fi icon, and he will be sadly missed. My very best thoughts for his family and friends.
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill. He provided us a character that was fascinating to watch through the years. Good work, Mr. Nimoy.
