Who is YOUR favorite author on Lush?

This is an erotic story site. We are all going to tend to gravitate to writers whose sexual inclinations resonate with us. I'm a niche writer. Some people like my stories. Others roll their eyes and say, "What the fuck! Why would anyone write that shit?"
Still there are some writers who able to transcend the genres. I think that Ravenstar's story, "For This Night" is the best story I've read on Lush. I'm also impressed with MamaScribe's story, "The Bun Also Rises." While both stories are erotic, they focus on the desires, doubts and anxieties their characters endure during the course of their story.
Good erotica is so much more than "Julie squealed with delight as Big Bill shoved his mammoth member into her quivering honey pot." It's also more than, "Julie's secret place gushed with glistening, slippery desire as Ben unsheathed his angry serpent." Human emotion and character make a story erotic, not adjectives and adverbs.

I would have to say that TrinityX is my all time favorite author on LUSH. Her stories are always told from a humble voice and she isnt pretentious and trying to be what she's not. The characters are her. I also like her genre variety and ability to weave her LadyWhore web around me. Her stories make me hard, and talking to her makes me smile.

when you ask "who is your favourite author" you are not necessarily asking "who is the best". If their subjects are not your particular bent then they could be the best writer in the world but not your favourite. The finest scribes are those who can hold your attention on any subject. I dislike "cuckold" and will pass over these types of stories - but- "Goodhusband" pens an excellent tale. What a pity he can,t expand his genre. Thankyou for your question

An EP is an Editors Pick. Those stories are nominated by a moderator and voted on by a panel of some of the most respected authors on the site. The stories are highly scrutinized for many factors such as grammar, plot, creativity, character development, sexiness and outstanding quality as a story, etc. It is a very difficult award to achieve.
Recommended Reads are chosen by individual story verifiers. The very best of those may go on to be nominated for an EP. Not everyone may agree because of their favorite style, category, particular tastes in stories and writing. The system is designed to allow for that, so that all types of categories and styles that are of excellent quality can get recognized and recommended rather than just a few styles. It broadens the spectrum.
For every RRd story you might think is terrible there are a great many readers with quite the opposite opinion who think very highly of it. That goes for anything in life, music, movies, art, fashion, politics, etc.
This is an erotic short story site and you can just look at the wide variety of story categories we offer to satisfy the desires of our varied members and readers.

Goodhusband, with his incredibly complex, intelligent, caring and well-written epics;
wilful, because his stories are so well-written and by far good enough to be mainstream best-sellers...except for all the flaming hot sex! (And both of those first two because they've each made me a better writer!)
MamaScribe, with her loving, sexy, and gently humorous stories...with the caveat that she needs to write more - but yes, I understand that life intrudes.
robertl, whose sexy stories and multi-part tales will leave you moved, emotionally drained, and glad you read them.
