I've finally cracked the steampunk tale that will complete omnium for me, and thank God because I'm tired of writing to genre! Beyond that, I've got an idea for a short series about either a family or a group of colleagues who all write Lush stories but don't know about each other's secret double life of smut.

I just published a Sugar Daddy/Baby story, and now have to select what I will edit next. It will be from a pile drafted anywhere from January 2025, going back to a year or two earlier than that probably.

Fact: I haven't drafted a single story since my Island comp entry. Anything you have seen published since that, I had drafted eons before that.

Fixed up another old chapter and now working on another.

I have a story that I started on my cruise. It's gotten kind of long so not sure how I'll publish now. Original version was quite short (could be a Flash with some editing) with a cute punchline but then I decided to see where else I could go with it and I'm now into an FFFM foursome (the woman are all bi to some degree) that threatens to take me up to 7-8 thousand words.

Still working on this one, not that I've done much writing recently. Too much else happening and I've been sick, which kind of throws my creativity off. Time to deal with the length question. My new story clocks in at 7000 words (roughly). Conventional wisdom is that is too long. But there's no obvious break point. And there's good stuff in the back half that I know will get ignored if it is in a "part two". What to do. Might just post as is and cross my fingers.

How concerned are you about clicks, likes, and comments? If you are not chasing numbers, just release it as one big, complete story. Either way, you will probably lose readers, either out of the gate (too long) or when part 2 is released (various reasons).

Personally, I enjoy long stories and will often read a story that is 4000-7000+ words before I read something that is less than 2000 words.

Final editing of my steampunk tale, which (I've now double checked) gets me the omnium.

The plan is to get it up on the fifth of May, which is the four year anniversary of publication of my first Lush story!

Then march to my next goal, millionaires club! I'm about halfway there but I've learned the system now and know the dark arts of Lush clickbait so hopefully the second half million will be quicker!

For the past few days I have been ignoring schoolwork and working on the final chapter of my epic tale All That Jizz, trying to work in an Irish-American crime boss angle without being too cliche 1920's about it. This series began as a sex-focused romp with no sustained plot, and now it's a plot-focused story that needs some gratuitous sex sprinkled in. 😅 This is what happens when you take 20+ months to wrap up your very first erotic story.

Been a hectic week but managed to get a new chapter of my Free Use series written. The whole series has sort of been teetering on dark, and it takes a full plunge on this chapter when our narrator orders up a roleplay he wasn’t quite ready for.

it also comes with a bit of a dilemna, do I spend time to try and make a new cover for the series? I like the current one but have been considering adding more thematic pics for the chapters. The trouble is I’m generating them with AI and I’m not so good at making the same character over and over.

More Mac and Grace, of course, and some Hot Wife Hotel that I've been meaning to get out there sooner than later. But also, a story that started in my head as a standalone story but it's starting to become longer than I anticipated, so I might have to make it a 2 or 3 parter. (honestly I dreamed last night that I made it a new series, which is also possible).

Yes there is a redhead who figures prominently. But the main character is a man whose life hasn't turned out like he planned.

I hope to get something completed next week while my man is traveling. I tend to stay up late when he's gone and I often do my best writing at night.

Doing more than one thing at once and having a brain that works, mysteriously or otherwise, is just showing off!! One awaits dispatch tomorrow. Three others to tidy up over the coming weeks.

Playing with an idea I had about a family of four, all of whom are secret contributors to Lush, reading each other's work without realising it. Whether or not the secret is let out of the bag and how, I haven't decided yet but it's quite fun to write!

I have the story I wrote on my vacation prepped to post. Other than that, I'm considering a writing break. Just not engaging well with writing at the moment.

@seeker4 - dont give up. I have writen two (non-Erotica) books, one while I was on Holiday last year. I am now taking a new pesona and going to publish all my stories that I wrote from here.

Finished another edit of a chapter and moving to the next one. It had been ready for a couple of weeks, but with the sudden news that a friend from my student days passed, I completely lost my desire to post it.

Working on a fun piece that I should have done for Easter. About an uptight religious girl hooking up with a rather famous man during a drunken bender. Half adorable, half sacriligious, "Jesus Christ!" should be submitted before the end of the week.

I am close to being finished writing my medical story, which is inspired by my own experience of being in a coma. And in addition to writing how the main character’s nurse fulfills his drug-induced fantasies at the end, I am returning to earlier scenes to make their encounters more sensual and fun. Hopefully not as repetitive, either

I had planned to take a little break from writing, but I had the basic plot of a prequel story already in my head and decided to start writing it a couple of days ago. Венера і Марс (Venus & Mars) started as a simple meet-cute turned road trip in war-torn Ukrainian Poland (technically Austria-Hungary) in May 1915 but has now become imbued with astronomy and symbolism. It's essentially done, but I'm going to tinker with it for a while to get the details just right. (And the phases of the moon in May 1915 and May 2026 line up almost exactly, so I'm going to get up super early later this week to see what the sky looks like before dawn.) My only previous Recommended Read is also a prequel about emigrating from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, so maybe this is where I shine.

I am very literal when I read Cyrillic characters, so I keep referring to my story as "bee-hep-a ee mapk". I would be honored if you did the same.
